"This is a new baby we just received, abandoned by her mother at birth and left to fend for herself. She's rather temperamental and has tried to fight many of us, Me and one other colleague have been the only ones she let near her"
Charlie and Rosalind were sat on the couch in the living room, the ginger man going through photos he had brought with him of his dragons, soon to be her dragons too. They were such beautiful creatures and all unique in their own ways, none were the same, each had their own life, their own personality, their own story.
It was noon, everyone else was in the kitchen helping prepare lunch(aside from Reinmond and Fleur who were both still upstairs along with Bill and Danielle who were both at work) whilst Rosalind, Charlie and Maximus were sat in the living room, the two friends doing all the talking whilst Maximus just sat and watched, Rosalind silently teasing him for eyeing up Charlie. She had talked to him about his uncomfortable moment and heard all of the worries he had, Fleur has heard too and it was actually her that told him that it's no one else's decision to decide when he felt it was right to feel things and move on, it was his life and his mental state that mattered, no one else's. He needed to let himself grieve before he could heal, he needed to find a way to accept that Cedric was now the past and every new day was the present, he had to find what made him happy, no one else. Rosalind swore she fell even harder for Fleur in that moment, a gift sent from whatever god was above she was.
They had all stayed up fairly late last night, bonding and chatting, catching up and playing games. The twins especially barely left Rosalind's side, following her around like two lost puppies; If it hadn't been for Molly and her strict self sending them all up to bed at the crack of midnight, they would have still been up talking to her about their plans for their joke shop, the joke shop they wanted her to have some part in. The twins were going to do something to rope her in to the joke shop once they left school, maybe they'd make a product based off of her, or make black leather jackets with their logo on? They just wanted something to represent her. It was her after all that was the reason this wouldn't all just ever be a dream.
Speaking of Molly, she had quickly turned her snarky attention into a positive one and started focusing on Danielle instead of Fleur, an argument having kicked up with Reinmond and Molly, the brother of Rosalind had been sick and tired of listening to the woman try and bully his sisters girlfriend, whilst also making Rosalind out to be some sort of 'fuck girl' all night long, he finally snapped, the words of 'my sisters relationship has nothing to do with you Mrs Weasley, you aren't her mother so shut it" slipping out of his mouth before he could stop them. Let's just say, he hadn't noticed himself how dark his expression had been, the face of a crazed death eater quite literally scaring Molly into leaving Fleur alone.
"Oh no, poor thing what's her name?" Rosalind felt her heart break for the infant creature. Looking at the picture that showed a Antipodean Opaleye, with gorgeous pearly white skin, wrapped around itself, like they were trying to hide away from the harsh world. She reminded her of herself, abandoned, hating the world because of something the person who brought you into this world did.
