~~~ 5 minutes before ~~~
"Laurel do you know where the bomb is?" Oliver asks as they run towards the middle wing.
"No. It could be anywhere. There could be multiple." Laurel says. Oliver stops. Quentin and Laurel stop and run back to him. "Oliver! What are you doing? We have to get out of here!"
"Do you remember anything? Anything they said when they were talking about the bomb?" Oliver asks. Laurel opens her mouth to speak but just shakes her head.
"Think, Laurel!" Oliver says.
"Okay! Um, they said something about..." Laurel thinks. "Midnight. They said they had to be out of here before midnight." Laurel says. Oliver looks for a clock. 11:57.
"We need to get out of here. Now." Oliver says. He pulls Laurel along and Quentin follows. They make it to the middle wing and scurry to the Emergency Exit doors. They push them open and it sounds the fire alarm.
"We need to turn that alarm off." Laurel says. "It'll call the police and fire department and they can't be here when it goes off." Oliver and Quentin look at each other.
"Get her away from here." Oliver says and then he races back inside. Laurel and Quentin run for the street. They wait and watch the door for Oliver, far enough so they won't get hit from the explosion.
Oliver runs as fast as he can. He goes behind the counter and clicks on on of the employee computers. "I really wish I had Felicity right now." Oliver means to think but says out loud. He types on the keyboard and clicks with the mouse. He finds the alarm system and shuts it down. The fire alarm stops and Oliver runs for the door again.
When Oliver runs through the door, Laurel and Quentin sigh in relief. They wait for him before they start running again. But he doesn't make it to them, because he is blow onto the ground from the explosion.
"John!? Roy!?" Felicity asks worriedly into the earpiece. Nothing but static.
"I think the explosion messed with the earpiece." Jonas says. Tears escape Felicity's eyes.
"You're probably right." She says as she starts to cry. Jonas leans over and hugs her as she quietly weeps into his chest.
"He's okay, Felicity. Oliver made it out before. He's okay." Jonas says.
"If he made it out before and isn't lying in the library burnt to a crisp than he would have spoken to us by now. We would have heard from him through the earpiece or he would have called. He wouldn't leave me like this. Wondering if he's dead or alive." Felicity says.
"Maybe there is something in the area blocking the the signal. And maybe Oliver, Laurel, or Quentin don't have a phone with them. There are different possibilities than just the worst. Okay?" Felicity raises her head from Jonas's chest. She realized that if she lost Oliver, it meant he lost Laurel.
"They're okay. They will walk through the door again. They're okay." Felicity says.
"Yes, they are okay." Jonas says.
"Felicity." Roy's voice pops in from the earpiece.
"Roy. Thank God you're alive. How is Diggle?" Felicity asks.
"I'm fine." Diggle says.
"Oliver and Laurel?" Jonas asks. There's a pause.
"We haven't seen them." Roy says. Felicity's eyes start tearing again. This time Jonas's do too.
"We're going in to look for them."" Diggle says.
"Be careful." Felicity says.
"We will." Roy says.
