A group of doctors push her bed to the OR. "It looks like the glass punctured her radial artery." One of the doctors says. "Can you move your fingers?" She asks the semi-conscious woman. She tries though it hurts her but they barely move. "It might have damaged her radial nerve too." They push open the doors to the OR and prep her for surgery. "We're gonna put you under now." The head doctor says. Then another doctor squeezes a liquid into the tube in her left arm and she falls asleep. "Okay, I am going to remove the glass from her arm. Once I do so, we will have to move fast. Ready?" The head doctor says. Everyone shakes their heads and the doctor pulls the glass out of Lyla's arm. They all begin to work. "How bad is her leg?" The doctor asks.

"Looks like a stable fracture." A doctor says.

"Good, put a cast on it when we're done."

"She's lost a lot of blood." A doctor says. "Pulse is dropping." Another doctor says as the heart rate on the ECG monitor decreases.

"We're gonna need a blood transfusion. Get me A+ ASAP." The doctor says. A doctor runs out of the OR.

"We're losing her." One of the doctors says. "Doctor Grey we're losing her."

"Where is that blood?" Doctor Grey asks. The line on the ECG monitor goes flat. "She's flat lining. Get me an AED." Doctor Grey says while a doctor puts an Ambu bag on Lyla to help her breathe. "1. 2. 3. Come on, come on. 1. 2. 3." Doctor Grey says as she performs CPR on Lyla. The doctor runs in with the A+ blood and they start the transfusion. A doctor pulls over the AED. "Charge 200." Doctor Grey says. The machine beeps.

"Clear." A doctor says and Doctor Grey puts the pads on Lyla's chest. It sends the shock, which does nothing.

"Charge 300." Doctor Grey says. The machine beeps.

"Clear." That doctor says again. Doctor Grey places the pads on Lyla's chest, sending the shock to her heart.

"Beep. Beep. Beep." The ECG monitor beeps.

"Pulse is steady." A doctor says. Doctor Grey heavily sighs.

"Okay. Let's finish this operation." Doctor Grey says. The doctors finish operating on Lyla's arm and put a cast on her fractured leg.

Diggle, who has a bandage on his head, is sitting in the Glades Memorial Hospital's waiting room with Mark, Sara, Oliver, Felicity, Roy, Thea, Laurel, Det. Lance, and Jonas. Sara is chasing Mark around the room and under the chairs. When Doctor Grey walks in everyone stands up, except for Mark, who is still crawling around under the hospital's chairs. "She lost a lot of blood and her radial artery was punctured but we were able to repair it. She's gonna be fine." Everyone sighs in relief.

"Can we see her?" Diggle asks.

"Of course, follow me." Doctor Grey says before she leads them to Lyla's room. Lyla is laying in her bed, propped up, fully conscious. Her arm is in a sling and her leg in the cast is laying on a pillow. She has stitches on the left side of her forehead. Diggle is the first to walk in.

"Hey." Lyla says.

"Hey." Diggle says smiling. He sits on the side of her bed. "How ya feeling?"

"Like a piece of glass cut half way into my arm." She says then groans. "I'm fine." Diggle leans over and kisses his wife. He gets up and stands by Lyla's left side, taking her hand, while everyone takes turns hugging her.

"Your radial nerve was damaged so you'll have some trouble moving your fingers freely. And your radial artery isn't in the best shape either so go easy on your arm for awhile." Doctor Grey says. Mark is sitting in Lyla's lap and Sara is sitting on her bed, where Diggle was.

"How long will recovery take?" Oliver asks.

"Recovery of the radial nerve will take several months. I'll prescribe pain medication to help with your neuralgia." Doctor Grey explains. "Your radial artery was punctured which will also take several months to heal. You'll have prescribed pain medication for that as well. As for your leg it was a minor fracture, you'll be able to walk fine in as little as a month. There was no severe damage from your head wound, if it were just that you could leave today. Physical therapy is needed for your arm and leg, after it is out of a cast, for a good recovery. I recommend you visit physical therapy three times a week for your arm starting this week and once a week for your leg after your cast is removed. Do you play any sports?"

"No."

"What's your profession?"

"I'm, um, I'm an agent, I work for the government."

"Oh really? That's cool. You'll have to take a leave from work, you can't be shooting people or be shot at in the condition your in. Unless your boss will let you work behind your desk for six months, but I'm not sure that's what you would want to do." Silence fills the room. Doctor Grey looks up from her chart,

"I know it sounds really bad but honestly Mrs. Diggle you should make a full recovery. I don't think you'll have any permanent damage if all goes well. Okay?" Doctor Grey reassures them.

"Okay." Lyla says.

"Okay. You'll need to visit me once a week to check on your injuries. But right now you should get some rest." Doctor Grey smiles and walks out of the room.

Everyone says their goodbyes and leaves Lyla to rest. Lyla grabs Diggle's arm before he leaves. "Johnny, will you stay?" Lyla asks.

"Of course." Diggle says. He pulls a chair to the right side of her bed and takes her hand. Lyla slouches down into a laying position and closes her eyes. He caresses her hand with his thumb until she falls asleep. He then falls asleep too, holding his wife's hand.

"Detective Lance sent me Digg and Lyla's case file. He said we could look into it because he thinks it's related to Ashlee's kidnapping." Felicity says. Her fingers move swiftly across the keyboard. "One of the traffic cams caught the other vehicle in the crash as they were fleeing. They have a partial lincese plate. I'm running it through their database."

"Good." Oliver's deep voice came from the stairs to the Verdant's basement. He walks over to the computer desk where his wife is sitting. He leans against the desk with his arms crossed against his chest, facing Felicity.

She stops typing to look at her husband, "Do you need something?"

"No." Oliver says, which makes him grin. Felicity continues typing,

"Your staring." Felicity says and then stops typing to look at him again.

"Am I?"

"Yes." She smiles. Then her expression turns to a sad one.

"We are going to find her, Felicity." Oliver says kneeling down next to Felicity's chair. His face full of worry and certainty.

"You think so?" Tears stream down her red cheeks. Oliver puts his hand on Felicity's cheek and wipes the tears from her eyes,

"We have you on the case, don't we?" He says. It makes them both sad smile. She puts her hand on the one that's on her cheek,

"I love you." She says.

"I love you." Oliver repeats her.

"Beep." The computer alarms them. Felicity turns to the computer, "We've got a match." Oliver stands and turns to the screen.

"Who does it belong to?" Oliver asks. Felicity types something and a picture and name come up. The name is Michael Carver. It's an alias, of course, for the person on their screen they definitely recognize. Named Slade Wilson.
