Arrow: Slade's Return

As Oliver and Felicity walk up the steps to their front door, past the police cars and men and under the yellow crime scene tape, they expect everyone to have beaten them back. But as they walk into the living room they discover they were wrong, because only Roy and Thea sit waiting for them. "Where's Diggle and Lyla, and Laurel?" Felicity asks.

"They haven't come back yet, I was starting to worry what happened to everyone." Thea answers.

"How long has it been since we left?" Oliver asks Thea.

"Two hours and thirty," Thea answers, "Which is why I was worried, I didn't expect you to be that long."

"I'll call Dig." Oliver says. He walks into another room and dials Diggle' s number. It rings and rings and goes to voicemail. Oliver tries again and it goes to voicemail. He walks back into the living room, "He didn't answer," Oliver explains, "I tried twice." Felicity is sitting next to Roy and Thea now,

"Why do you think? I mean you don't think somethings wrong, do you?" She asks. Oliver doesn't answer. He tightens his jaw then lightly sighs. "You do. Think their in trouble, I mean." Felicity says. Even when he doesn't say a thing she knows what he's thinking.

"Try Laurel, see if she's picking up, I'm going to stop by A.R.G.U.S. and see if Dig and Lyla are there." Oliver says before kissing Felicity goodbye and leaving. Felicity takes out her phone and calls Laurel,

"Hello?" Laurel says.

"Hi, it's Felicity, think God your okay."

"Okay? What did you think happened to me?"

"Nothing. Nothing, just thought you'd be back already and Dig isn't answering his phone so. Glad your okay." Felicity says.

"I'll be back soon." Laurel says, "Bye Felicity."

"Bye." Felicity ends the call before Laurel. So what happened to Dig and Lyla? Felicity thinks. "Laurel's fine." Felicity says. She dials Oliver's number, "Oliver, Laurel' s fine."

"That's good. I'll call you when I know anything. Bye."

"Bye." Felicity says. She sits back down on the couch with Roy and Thea, "Did Detective Lance find any new evidence while we were gone? Or does he have a suspect?" Felicity asks.

"Nothing," Roy says, "Not even a hair."

"No suspects either," Thea adds, "At least non he wants us to know about."

"Dig? Lyla?" Oliver asks as he walks through the halls of A.R.G.U.S.

"Mr. Diggle and Agent Michaels are not here, Mr. Queen." Amanda Waller, head of A.R.G.U.S., says as Oliver approaches the main office where Amanda is.

"When did they leave?" Oliver asks.

"Leave? Mr. Diggle and Agent Michaels were never here. I haven't seen them." Amanda answers. Oliver tilts his head slightly, wondering why they never made it, then walks out. Then where are they? Oliver asks himself silently. This doesn't make any sense, why did they never get to A.R.G.U.S.? Why aren't they answering their phones? Oliver hurried back to his home.

"So?" Felicity asks as she quickly stands up to greet Oliver.

"They never made it to A.R.G.U.S.," Oliver says, "Can you access their phone's GPS and find their location?"

"I'm on it." Felicity says and grabs her laptop. She types for about seven seconds and says, "They're on the freeway, they're not moving."

"Can you pull up the traffic cam feed?" Oliver asks.

"Already on it." Felicity says. The camera feeds come up and they all watch a different one.

"There, freeze it." Roy says.

"That's an accident." Felicity says. The car is flipped on its top and completely crushed on the passengers side. There are skid marks from the flipped car but non from the car that hit them. The second car in the accident isn't there.

"Yeah I know, but look at the license plate." Roy says. Felicity zooms up on the picture, the license plate reads D16613.

"Diggle." Oliver says whispers. "Felicity send me those GPS coordinates." Oliver says as he runs for the door.

"Okay." Felicity says. Oliver rushes out the door, down the stairs, and to his car. Roy follows quickly behind.

"I'm coming with you." Roy says as he reaches the car. He waits for Oliver's approval.

"Get in." Oliver says and they speed off. Meanwhile, Felicity asks Thea,

"Do they think Dig has something to do with the crash?"

"That's Diggle' s car," Thea explains. "The license plate, D16613, means Diggle. See? The first 1 is an I and the last an L. The sixes are the G' s. I think you get it."

"I do." Felicity says.

"Do you think they're still in the car?" Thea asks.

"I don't know," Felicity unfreezes the tape, "I can't tell, the camera isn't at a good enough angle to say."

Oliver and Roy arrive at the crash site. They hurry to the flipped car. Diggle and Lyla are still in the car, both unconscious. Diggle in the driver's seat, Lyla in the passenger's. There is only one set of skid marks, from Dig before they flipped, non from the car that hit them. Lyla's head is bleeding, it's coming from a large cut on the right side of her head. It happened when the other car first hit them, sending her head towards Diggle, then back into the glass of her window. It caused her unconsciousness. That hit also fractured her right leg. Her right arm is bleeding, from the second hit where the other car hit them so hard they flipped over. They hit from the front and side the second time, still on the passenger seat side. It was close enough to the front to break the windshield and close enough to the right side that it flipped the car over. First it caused the windshield to break and a piece wedged into Lyla's arm. Then the car flipped. The rest of her body is bruised. Lots of bruises are from when they flipped.

Diggle was conscious after the first hit, when Lyla wasn't, and tried to get away from the other car but it chased them, got ahead of them, then turned around and hit them again, sending them into a flip. When the car hit them, Diggle whacked his head on the steering wheel, becoming unconscious. Besides brusies, thats the only injury Diggle has. When they landed the flip, they were both unconscious and bleeding while the other car fled. On the way here, Roy called the police to send paramedics to the crash in case they were still in the car. The paramedics arrive shortly after Oliver and Roy, before the boys get a chance to help Dig and Lyla. "Please step away from the car, we'lll take it from here." A paramedic told Oliver and Roy.

"Okay." Roy said. They got out of the paramedics way and watched as they got Diggle out of the car first and onto a gurney. They load Dig into an ambulance, "Can I come with him?" Roy asks the paramedics in the ambulance.

"Are you family?" One of the paramedics asks.

"Practically." Roy says. The paramedic nods and Roy climbs in. They shut the doors and drive off to Glades Memorial Hospital. The paramedics finally get Lyla out of the car and lift her onto a gurney.

"I'm coming with her." Oliver says as they load Lyla into an ambulance.

"Alright." The paramedic says and Oliver jumps in the ambulance. They drive off to Glades Memorial Hospital as well.
