Kirishima sets the Wonder Duo in Motion

The Wonder Duo's Battle (and Deku's Vengeance)

The excitement in the air was tangible. Bakugou and Midoriya had quietly slipped away in the midst of Shinsou and Kaminari's congratulations, making their way to the waiting room for their own battle. Their pinkies were intertwined, the two sharing soft smiles and looks of steady determination. They were going to crush this exam. Crush it and show everyone just how good they were when they work together. Their classmates, and more importantly, their opponents, wouldn't know what hit them.

Midoriya was more than excited. With Mirkio and Hawks no longer being options for their own fight, it raised the chances of them going up against who Midoriya wanted to go up against. The prime person he wanted to beat. And from Katsuki's little glances his way, he guessed his sinister eagerness was noticeable.

"Nerd..." Katsuki narrowed his eyes at him. "What are you planning?"

"Nothing out of the ordinary." Midoriya smiled innocently.

Katsuki took a breath. "Ok. What plan are you hoping to put to use?"

"The vengeful one."

"The what?"

"The vengeful one."

Midoriya could see the gears turning in Katsuki's head. "...am I aware of the vengeful one?"

"Mostly."

Katsuki opened his mouth to draw more details out of him when Present Mic's voice cut through.

"AND NOW, FOR OUR SECOND DUO OF THE DAY, PLEASE WELCOME THE WONDER DUO! THEY WIN TO SAVE AND SAVE TO WIN, IT'S DEKU AND DYNAMIGHT!"

Todoroki Shouto choked. Half of the class spit out whatever they were eating and were now openly gaping at the exam's cityscape where Midoriya and Bakugou had entered. Todoroki could vaguely register Iida's yell to quiet down and ot be respectful of their classmates' choice to become a hero duo... even if it wasn't what anyone expected.

But Todoroki couldn't focus on any of that. Because he was right. He had seen Midoriya and Bakugou together at that café, he just knew it. And the whole Amanda ploy... they were in it together. And while Todoroki couldn't imagine the two dating each other, he wouldn't put it past them to pull a fast one over everyone and do it.

Then Present Mic announced the villains, and Todoroki Shouto knew he was going to be absolutely thrilled with the ensuing fight. Becausing booming out of the speakers was Present Mic's voice, telling them to

"PLEASE WELCOME OUR VILLAINS: MOUNT LADY... AND ENDEAVOR!"

Deku's grin grew. Just who he wanted to fight: Endeavor. Mount Lady they could make quick work of; she was new and had quite a few weaknesses from what he'd seen of her fights on the news. That, and she was a bit more focused on being a public figure than a hero, in his humble opinion at least.

He shot a manic grin at Dynamight. "Mount Lady first. Plan A. Endeavor second. Plan Z."

Dynamight's head snapped to him. "Plan Z?"

"Plan Z."

"And what the hell is plan Z?"

"Psychological warfare."

Dynamight paled. This was going to end badly... or epicly. Probably both.

The booming sound of large feet hitting concrete warned them of Mount Lady's oncoming approach. Deku nodded at Dynamight before zipping off to the tops of the buildings. Dynamight ran towards the sound as well, creating miniature explosions to keep Mount Lady looking for him on the streets rather than Deku on the roofs.
