Secret of the Century

Bakugou felt warm. It was 6:00 in the morning, he should be getting up and ready for school, but all he wanted to do was cuddle the nerd sleeping on his chest. He ran his hands through Izuku's hair, Izuku letting out a little hum in his sleep. Bakugou closed his eyes, letting sleep pull him back into the darkness. He didn't care if he wasn't early to class today, not if it meant cuddling a sleeping Izuku for longer.

    What he hadn't been hoping for however, was to wake up 10 minutes before class, rushing himself and Izuku into their uniforms and out the door, each grabbing an apple on the way out. He especially hadn't been hoping for all the stairs as they came running through the door a minute before class started.

    As they sat down, Bakugou heard Izuku giggle.

    "Whatcha laughing for, nerd?" he whispered.

    "I think this is the first time we've come in around the time I used to and not the time you normally do." he whispered back.

    Bakugou couldn't help but chuckle, "I suppose you're right, nerd."

    Aizawa stared at the pair a minute before turning around to begin class. They were onto their villains unit. Legendary villains, the different quirks different villains had, villain organizations, even some of their backstories. Midoriya was loving it, Bakugou however, was bored. He and Midoriya had studied this the day before. I guess being ahead isn't always as fun as it seems.

    "Bakubro!" Kirishima wrapped his arm around Bakugou's shoulders as class ended.

    "What Shitty hair."

    "Soooo, you and Midoriya came in together. Did something happen?"

    "Yeah. It's called: I slept through my alarm." He doesn't need to know it was on purpose

    "Woah!" Kaminari explained, coming up behind them, "you never sleep through your alarm!"

    "Shut it, Dunce face!"

    "Hey bro, are you coming to the festival tonight?"

    "Yep!" Kirishima answered, "even Bakugou is coming!"

    "How'd you manage that?!" Kaminari exclaimed.

    "Now that is the secret of the century."

    Midoriya smiled as he saw Kacchan walk away with his friends. He knew Kacchan would never admit it, but he enjoyed hanging out with them. And honestly, it was kinda cute when he denied it...

    "Deku!"

    "Uraraka!" Midoriya exclaimed, "What's up?"

    "What's up with me! What's up with you?! You walked in with Bakugou! Like as in walked together like friends do!"

    "Y-yeah. We both overslept today and ran into each other on our way here."

    "But he didn't try to blow you up!" Uraraka scrunched her eyebrows, "then again, he's been nicer to you lately... Did you two start dating without telling me?!"

    "Wh-what?! Uraraka!"

    "Uraraka. I must ask that you stop pushing into Midoriya's business. Whether he and Bakugou are dating is their business. Now, we have lunch." Iida interjected.

    "Aren't afternoon classes canceled because of the festival?" Uraraka asked.

    "I think so." Midoriya said, "I'm pretty sure the school gave us the rest of the day off as relaxation time."

    "That was nice of them!" Uraraka said, "maybe we could go to the arcade before the festival!"

    "Yeah! That'd be fun!"

    Todoroki and Iida nodded, and so the dekusquad headed off to the arcade before the festival.
