When y/n and Jacob got to school, she quickly got out of the car before anyone could notice because it would be so embarrassing if a girl like her was seen with the most popular guy in school.

"So eager to leave already," said Jacob.

Y/n gave him a weird look and walked away, with all her books in her hand and her glasses slipping down her nose.

.

She walked into the school grounds and went straight to the library because she wasn't like other girls hanging out before school starts. She didn't have many friends but her best friend Britney was always there for her, even if she was the popular girl. Y/n always wondered why Brit was friends with her and didn't hang out with the other cheerleaders and jocks because y/n was so weird and she was sure Brit would get bullied for being friends with her.

The bell rings for the first class. Y/n said bye to Britney and went off to class. She was late once again.

Y/n started running to class, not paying attention to where she was going. Suddenly she bumped into someone and dropped her books everywhere.

She didn't bother to look at who it was while she started collecting her books. Y/n bent down to grab a textbook as her hand collided with the other person. She slowly looked up and saw that the other person was Bryce. Her crush since pre-school.

"I...I...I..." y/n stumbled. She got nervous around him.

"You take extension maths?" said Bryce unbothered.

"Y-y-yes," y/n said, trying to avoid eye contact.

"I'll leave you to it then," Bryce said once he got no response, he walked away.

Y/n was so confused. Why would Bryce talk to her. She was so weird and he had a girlfriend on the cheer team.

She ignored the thought and rushed to class.
