Jacob was heading to school when he noticed y/n and decided he wanted to talk to her.

"Y/n wait up!" he shouted across the campus.

What now, she thought to herself.

"I just want to say I'm sorry about how things went down at the pa-"

"Oh, don't worry about it, all good," she cut him off.

"So I was thinking I want to make it up to you," he stated.

"Oh really," y/n raised her eyebrow.

"Yeah, I want to set you up with Bryce,"

"Ahh, that's alright I-"

"Perfect!" He cut her off.

Great! She liked Bryce, obviously, but with everything going on with Harry she knew something would go wrong.

.

.

Jacob went up to one of his best friends, Bryce to talk to him about a proposition he had.

"So I have to get with y/n and you'll make me captain of the football team?" Bryce asked again.

"Yep, that's it" Jacob confirmed for the third time.

"Deal," Bryce said.

"Hey, please be good, I'm warning you," Jacob said.

"She's my girlfriend, not yours," Bryce joked with a grin.

Jacob rolled his eyes at him as the bell rang for class. It was math extension and that was when he realized that y/n and he never finished their project due today.

"Great," he muttered under his breath.

.

.

As they got to class, y/n was in a really random mood, it wasn't quite good or bad.

Luckily enough, they had both done enough work separately so they could combine it into one project. They handed it in and went on the rest of the class without talking, as they normally do.
