I stand just outside the front door of the school. I didn't bring an umbrella with me this morning. I had no idea it was supposed to rain. It's far too late for me to take the bus. The next one won't stop for another thirty minutes or more. I'd be waiting in the rain until it got here. In those thirty minutes I could make it a little over half way home walking.

"How far do you have to go?" Someone questions from behind me.

"Me?" I question as I spin around to see SeungMin standing a few feet away from me.

"No—the alien holding a cow above its head next to you. Yes, you." SeungMin sighs as he steps out of the building and joins me under the tin roof hanging over the steps.

"At least a fifty minute walk." I groan as I stare out at the dark drizzling sky.

I hadn't anticipated on being here this late, but I saw it was raining earlier and thought I could wait it out. Now, I'm stuck walking in the rain at eight o'clock at night. If I wait a little longer, I'm sure I'd run into my dad. He'd gladly give me his umbrella, but I feel like he'll be upset I'm still here. He's always insisted that I leave the school by six. He said that I can do whatever I want after, but he doesn't want me being cooped up in the school longer than necessary.

"Do you want a ride? My ride is over there. We can drop you off if you want." SeungMin nods toward a black car pulled up in front of the school just outside the gates.

"No—I'll be fine. It's just a little rain. I wouldn't want to give ChangBin something to use against you." I sigh as I turn down the offer of a century. If I was smart, I'd take it and run. He's cute. He seems nice. He's smart. He's honestly—at this point in time—marriage worthy.

"ChangBin would be mad I didn't offer you a ride." SeungMin glances down at his feet as he kicks at the ground.

"Wait—why? He seems like the type of guy who would pour water down on me from the third floor just because I looked at him wrong." I glance over at SeungMin confused.

"He won't admit it, but he wants to be the only thing causing you problems. Usually he doesn't care about anything else when he messes with people, but with you he said he has to be the one making your life hell. Who knows why—it's just—it's a ChangBin thing. So don't worry about him. I can give you a ride, really. It isn't a problem." SeungMin offers again as he swings his umbrella at his side.

"Are you sure? It's probably out of your way." I hesitantly start to cave in to his offer. I really don't want to walk home in the rain. I'm exhausted as is from dealing with ChangBin all day. He's like a little kid who's throwing a fit after not getting a toy at the store. Honestly, my ankle hurts, too. When I fell on him, I twisted my ankle. It's been bothering me all day.

"I'm sure. I don't have anything planned. Besides, I like driving around in the rain. It's peaceful." SeungMin reassures me as he opens his umbrella and steps out from under the roof. He patiently waits for me to join him.

I step down and stand beside him. He adjusts the umbrella so it covers me completely. I notice his shoulder getting wet so I close the distance between us a bit more and adjust the umbrella a bit to cover him as much as possible. He smiles brightly as he leads the way toward his waiting car.

"Can we drop my friend off at her house? She forgot her umbrella and it's quite the walk from here." SeungMin asks his driver as he tugs the door open. The man nods without hesitation as he glances back at us. I bow my head awkwardly before climbing into the back seat.

SeungMin closes his umbrella and quickly slides in next to me. I place my backpack in my lap and stare out the window awkwardly. SeungMin sets his bag on the ground along with his umbrella. He places his phone on the seat between us before taking his wet jacket off.
