I hate it here

Rumbling through her files to find the exact form attached with a passport size picture of her forced smile was too much. Let alone the heat and the sweaty smell of summer. And just as she was about to take out the white sheet, “Dhupp!” She hit on something, hard, or maybe someone!

She looked upwards to find a group of boys standing in front of her. And the one in the middle with specs had the most irritated expression of all, without any sign of consideration.

It didn’t take much for her turtle speed brain to realise what she had done. “Sorry! I am so sorry” She could feel the stares from the passers by.

Ahh! What a perfect Bollywood  romantic scene. And now after that prolonged stare, when she would be bending down to pick her stationary, out of generosity the guy would do the same. Out of nervousness, her hands might be shaking but only to calm down with his soft touch, coincidently? Or maybe..intentionally.

But to break the ice for you, nothing sort of that actually happened. Ananya’s passion for her genetically inherent skill of overthinking is beyond everything.

First, the stares and then the masculine chest where she thwacked her forehead on…what if they start bullying me here? It would be life long till she leaves the institute, maybe even more..What??

And without even thinking further she set herself aside and started jogging towards her path of freedom from future bullying.

And woman, you expect to have a love life in college?

The boys stood there trying to understand what exactly just happened.
