The rain poured against the roof, the sound of it overpowering the radio in the small store. Opening the front door, the cold air and smell of rain hit her face, Pietro and Wanda were out of town for the weekend, visiting some relatives. The tree Pietro used to wait under, looking weirdly empty without his presence. The rain didn't bother June, she walked right out of her shelter under the roof covering the small porch. She didn't come far until she heard a car horn honking on her side. Turning her head up she noticed the blue truck that Steve drove.

"Get in!" Steve yelled over the deafening sound of pouring rain.

"It's fine, I can walk!" She yelled back.

"You're gonna get sick, get in! I'll drive you home" He argued.

She sprinted across around the car, letting Otis jump in the backseat before getting in.

"Why do you have to argue about everything before agreeing?" He chuckled.

"It's much more fun that way" she smiled at him.

"Hey, if you want, the guys and I am gonna be watching the game tonight" He started as he pulled into the side of the road closest to June's trailer. "You should come".

"I don't really watch the game"  she began before he cut her off.

"Oh, come on, we'll eat, have some beer. It could be fun"

"Yeah, sorry I'm just gonna stay in with Otis tonight. Maybe next time!" She assured as she got out of the car letting Otis out.

Steve and Sam would always ask her to do stuff like that with them, but sitting on a couch with them watching some game, drinking beer, and yelling at the TV wasn't really what she was in the mood for. It was the one time she couldn't stand to hang out with just the guys, she felt like the testosterone would be suffocating her. It usually ended up in Sam and June screaming at the top of their lungs at each other after June said something means about the sport, making Sam more and more annoyed until they were basically fighting each other. But growing up together, the fighting was just a part of every day, Sam was like her annoying older brother, who she wouldn't trade for anyone.

Leaving Steve and heading towards the trailer, the rain ran down her face, making her hair and clothes wet, shoes filling up with water. As she slammed the door behind her she immediately changed out of her wet clothes, putting on a pair of grey sweatpants, and a huge hoodie she got from the men's section of the local thrift store. Curled up in her bed with her knees up to her stomach, laying on her side with Otis by her feet. Her computer laying on the mattress in front of her,  she was listening to the rain pouring down her window. Slowly drifting into sleep trying to stay awake but finally giving in.

She was suddenly dragged out of her sleep, sitting straight up still not sure what it was that had woken her up so suddenly. It was dark out, and the only source of light in her trailer was a table lamp on the small kitchen counter, right across from the door. Then she heard the banging on her door again, confusingly getting up and moving towards the entrance. Heavy steps as she pulled her fingers through her hair, tangled from falling asleep on it wet. Moving the curtain slightly to be able to view who's outside.

"Hey JJ!" She heard Sams voice yelling outside before she had the chance to open the door.

She opened the door and rubbed her eyes, checking the time on her phone, 23:42. "What the fuck, Sam!" She groaned as she noticed Steve and Bucky standing right behind him.

Sam was standing at the bottom of her doorstep, his face being lit up by the lights from inside. Steve was right behind him, wearing a team logo sweatshirt, holding a beer smiling at June. Behind them, standing in the darkness was Bucky, barely being viewable in the shadow. He was scratching his head looking around the park.
