First things first, I would like to thank all my beautiful readers for reading my book! It is not perfect (nothing ever is) but I'm so glad you are ever ready to accept this imperfect of mine <3. I will also like to apologize in advance for not writing longer for this chapter. However, I did try to squeeze out a interesting chapter for you, featuring more of Leon's reluctance to disclose to others what had happened, even to his closest friends. I hope all of you agree that a short chapter is better than no chapter at all...
(Leon)
I sat on my bed, contemplating not only my life but also what had happened this afternoon. Suddenly, my door swung open. It was Albert, standing there awkwardly.
"Yes?" I questioned. Albert looked sheepishly at me.
"Um, the others want to talk to you. You know, about today," Albert said.
I sighed, standing up instantly. Sometimes, I did want my friends to leave whatever that happened in the past in the past. It was hard enough that I couldn't face it, but my friends wanted to speak about it? I trailed behind Albert and soon arrived in the common room. The rest were sitting there with tense expressions on their faces.
"What do you guys want to talk about?" I asked, sinking down into a chair. Alexis opened his mouth to speak, but was cut off by Charles.
"We just want to know what happened to make you act that way," Charles demanded, leaning closer to the table in the middle of the sofas we were currently seated on. Albert, too, had taken a spot beside Felix. I sat there, unmoving.
"What had happened passed a long, long time ago. It does no good to dwell in the past," I commented.
Alexis was unsatisfied with the answer. "Prince Leon, but we have been proved that you still dwell in it," Alexis pushed.
I stood up. "If that's all you want to discuss, you won't get your answer. Though I suppose, if you are bothered, you can ask the Italian royals. They knew what happened, after all," I replied.
"Leon, wait." I turned around to face Charles.
"No good will come from this, Charles. Not unless you want to find out how big of a danger Lena had been," I snapped. Glancing at the clock, I realised it was four minutes away from ten. Great. Not wanting to collapse midway through this conversation, I firmly strolled out of the room, my fists clenched. No one followed, and I didn't want them to, either. The past, I thought, is in the past for a reason. I wondered if Alexis' words were true, that I myself had indeed been in the past all this time.
Lying down on my bed, I found myself thinking of what Lena was doing. Judging from her character, she had already pushed the incident to the back of her mind, to an unreachable place that even herself dreaded to touch. Would Lena think about this for longer this time, considering after all this time, nothing had changed? Was Lena thinking about me now, pondering what I might be doing? Lena, did she hate me for what I'd done?
I had become more than a monster, to reject her like that. Would she think the same, or would she forgive and forget, like how she always did, like how Gina did too? I loved my sister, but I couldn't bear to give up my purpose for that one thing. Perhaps I was selfish. I rubbed my head in frustration. This became more than a problem, indeed. My eyes slowly closed as I fell into a dreamless sleep.
!! MEGA WARNING: UNLESS YOU WANNA SEE ME TYPE POINTLESSLY, YOU CAN SKIP UNTIL THE END !!
Now I wonder, do any of you have theories of what happened based on all the clues so far? I promise you that one day, the characters will all come to terms with the incident and then you'll know what happened! But for now I would love to hear your theories (although I already thought of what the incident was) because it will be so interesting to know what you guys can think of!
P.S. for the benefit of those who didn't read Prince Series but still reads this, in the series Leon is known to fall asleep at 10pm sharp, no later, no earlier and no matter where he is. Unusual, isn't it?
Next, do any of you think I should add an exclusive Gina POV? Gina is my absolute favorite princess. I know she is not that special and is not one of the main princesses that helped with the conflict in Poposi, but she has something about her that is extremely likable and she's so kind! I hope that one day there'll be a book mainly about both her and Gion (just wishful thinking, I know) because I want to find out more about their past. We did get a book that shows Gion's sister complex (book 6: A Royal Vengeance) and a book about Livio's past (book 25: Knights of Fright) in which Gion participated actively in but I'm obsessed with wanting to find out what makes him so...um, him. BTW, did I ever mention this book was basically inspired by my obsession with the Italian siblings? Like how I wish I can be Gina's best friend...how I wish I can EVER have a chance with Gion. Now I'm just rambling at this point of time so I'll stop.
Last but not least, I'm sure some of our friends who don't read Prince Series may get lost some point in the story, so I'm just gonna add all the royals here (including the ones who are no longer in Momosu):
