Jin spends the three remaining days of his heat in Namjoon's arms. The alpha orders food to the apartment and doesn't leave him for a second. Jin himself doesn't let him go. The omega wakes up periodically at night with the fear of finding an empty bed, but when he's met with strong arms around him, he falls again into a sweet dream.

Namjoon is a sensitive, passionate, and tireless lover. In Jin's fairly large apartment, there was not a single horizontal surface where they didn't test his strength. Jin wasn't able to take a shower calmly anymore . The omega for the first time in all the years he's lived in this apartment examined both the drawings on the tiles and the bottom of his bath closely and carefully . Jin feels like the happiest omega in the universe. He absolutely does not think about anything and does not allow any gloomy thoughts to spoil the moment.

But eventually, everything comes to an end.

The heat ends on Thursday morning, and Jin, leaving Namjoon sleeping in bed, goes to the kitchen to make coffee. The omega sits at the table and, stirring a hot drink, tries to put his thoughts back in order. The nasty sense of the wrongness of everything that has happened in recent days fills him. Although, if it was wrong, why was it so beautiful? All the euphoria, joy and happiness remain in the past, today he needs to think about what to do next, and even Jin, accustomed to solving his problems independently and easily, sits staring at the cup and cannot decide. The alpha enters the kitchen and tears him from his thoughts. Namjoon, wearing only trousers, passes to the cabinet and, taking out a cup, pours himself a coffee.

"Good morning," the alpha smiles and sits opposite the omega, who is drinking his cooled down coffee.

"Morning," Jin mutters and tries not to look at the alpha's chest and shoulders, which are covered with his nail scratches .

"I like your apartment," Namjoon begins from afar. "But I have a huge house, and it is empty."

Jin squeezes the spoon in his hand, realizing where Kim is heading and remains silent.

"And I also have a large orange orchard, it's not lime, of course, but citrus fruits. It smells incredible and there is a gazebo. You will like it," continues the alpha. "I can call the guys right now and they will transport everything you want to pick up," Namjoon sips his coffee and looks expectantly at the omega.

"I don't want to leave my apartment," Jin says quietly.

"OK, no problem. Of course, I would really like to, but then I will spend most of my time here until you decide," the alpha says calmly.

"You don't get it," Jin looks up at him. "I don't want us to live together."

Namjoon rubs his forehead with his fingers, pushes the cup away, and peers into the opposite face.

"Why?"

"Because I'm a beta, because I have a debt, and I can't do this to people who trust me."

The alpha frowns, leans back in his chair, and looks for something distracting to look at . He doesn't want to look at Jin. The omega just stated clearly that his duty comes before Namjoon .

"You are an omega," Kim continues to study the plates on the shelf behind Jin. "My omega. I love you, and on the first day, you said that you feel something for me. How can you cross out all this for some kind of debt?" Namjoon seriously does not understand and he is furious. He hardly squeezes the rage rising to his throat and returns his attention to the omega again.

"I have lived this way all my life and should have lived it like that," Jin replies in a sinking voice. "My parents went through a lot for this, I went through a lot. And you appear out of nowhere and offer me to quit. Yes, I love you, and it is silly to hide it, I could not even dream that it was mutual, but there are things that are more important than love. Love will not help here," he looks down at his hands on the table.
