The next day at school was pretty calm. I was curious as to why it was so peaceful until I noticed that neither Courtney or her goons bothered to show up to school after what happened yesterday.

This was the first day that they hadn't shown up since the beginning of the school year, and gave everybody a sense of freedom.

The kids that the PCC's had tormented since sixth grade where more talkative than usual, the band kids talked with the art kids, the nerds had a heated argument with the geeks on whether Star Wars was a sci-fi or a fantasy genre, and heck even the jocks where socializing!

It seemed that with the PCC's gone and Courtney's iron fist of order temporarily lifted, kids could finally veer out of their clichés.

Before we knew it the first period bell rang and we scurried off to our classes, when I walked into Mrs. Woods classroom I was practically leap on by one of my classmates Nikki.

''Did you hear about it''? she questioned ''About what'' ''The new kid we're getting''! ''So, we get new kids all the time it's nothing special''. ''Yea but this guy's a transfer student from Ridgewood Middle, Greenwood's rival school''.

This caught my attention. Ridgewood Middle, aka the one's that win games and awards have been Greenwood's rival school since they were both built and to say that it's just a good school is an understatement, it's an awesome school not only is they're football team actually good but they also have a wide variety of extracurriculars and academics.

And I've heard that they're library  is stocked with shelves full of books with hundreds of different genres

''And I heard that he's super cute, like a rugged preppy look'' she gushed.

Just as I'm about to make a gagging gesture our teacher walks in and following her is a guy who looks like he should be on the cover of Pretty Boys Magazine

...

wow

Nikki wasn't joking
