MumboJumbo: Who?

Grian: WHO???

DocM77: omw

Xisuma: on my way

Rendog: 80% sure they are hybrid hunters, they all smell the same.

-------------

The second that Xisuma read Ren's message, he felt a shift in the air. A record of safety and carefreeness was broken in the server. The last time something like this had happened was when Evil Xisuma broke into Hermitcraft, things got exploded and people got hurt...

But Xisuma had heard stories of hybrid hunters and had made his own efforts to avoid them in his youth.

He had known that he wasn't human for a while now... but he had no idea what he was.

Breathing in the overworld was a challenge, it felt that every breath was too potent, as though his lungs were getting overpowered constantly. The air felt thick. It took him a while to learn that that wasn't a normal normal feeling for humans.

It was when he first visited the end when he realized that that was where he belonged, breathing was a breeze, yet his peers seemed to be huffing more, as though the air lacked what they needed to function... as though the air lacked the oxygen needed for them... So maybe he wasn't entirely human...

Xisuma quickly reread the message and typed a response before scanning some of the systems he put in place to protect the server. How did they get in? There was no way they could have gotten in!

He had put the highest level of security in on their server after the Ex incident, having had learnt that pieces of the other Hermit's past may come back to haunt them just like his had.

After-all, Hermitcraft is a private server, a safe place for all of its members, a refuge for those who needed it. Xisuma's job was to protect it, and it seemed this was the second time that he had failed.

He quickly scanned all of his security protocols again, unsure of what went wrong. Over quick glances, nothing seemed out of place or unusual, there were no blaring warning signs or error messages. It made no sense.

But that was a problem that Xisuma would have to sort out later, because clearly there was still a way to get in. There were currently potential intruders on the server, and Grian randomly appeared last season, so clearly there must be something that was awry within the code. Not that Grian was a poor addition to the server, but the avian didn't even know how he ended up on the server. X himself was slightly skeptical of his random arrival, but quickly realized that he was no threat. When he joined he was confused and scared, constantly looking over his shoulder or jumping and the slightest touch, feathers bent and damaged. He never talked about what had happened, but all of the Hermits knew it didn't matter. Besides, he fit in perfectly.

Quickly equipping is elytra he set off to the shopping district.

"The house is not lopsided Cleo!"

"It totally is!! What do you mean?"

Joe sighed.

"Why would I build a house lopsided!?"
