Chapter 5: Khai Learns

Once Stephen was back at his hotel he thought about how to get Khai to be his. He thought how am I going to do this? I need to be sure and I need him to be mine and I will not lose. Stephen came up with a plan and thought it through, but he had to watch out for Mom, she knew who and what he was, He knew she would try and stop him. He would have to do this out of Mom's reach. Stephen picked up his phone and called Khai's office. Secretary answered, " Stevenson Inc. may I help you?" Stephen smiled, " May I please speak to Khai please?" " Did you mean Mr. Stevenson?" " Yes, sorry," " one moment, please." She placed him on hold and went into Khai's office." There is someone on the phone for you." " Thank you, Ms. Piper. " She walked back to her office and closed the door. " This is Mr. Stevenson, can I help you?" Stephen smiled at the sound of Khai's voice," Hello Khai, I was hoping I could get you to go to dinner so we can discuss the terms of investing in your company?" " Oh Stephen, hello. I will have to check with home and make sure nothing is going on there. Can I call you back in like 15 minutes ?" " Sure that is fine." " Ok then talk to you soon." and Khai hung up. He sat there staring at the phone. This guy wants to invest but I know nothing about him. He was trying to figure out how he can find information. Khai dialed the number of his friend Thomas. Thomas was a detective and he knew he could help. He gave Thomas all the information he had and Thomas told him he would check and get back to him.

Khai was not sure about Stephen, He seemed nice and all but he wanted to invest in the company and he was not sure where Stephen had heard about the company. He seemed very secretive. Kahi called home and asked about dinner and was told nothing special for tonight. Khai said he was eating out with a friend and would be home after dinner and hung up. He dialed Stephen's number," Hello Stephen, Khaihere I can meet you for dinner. Where did you want to meet? " Stephen smiled at the sound of Khai's voice," We can stay at my hotel. They have a dining room here, I heard it is good food." " OK, I can be there in like fifteen minutes, which hotel again." Stephen laughed, " The Essington Hotel." " Oh right, ok be there at about fifteen. " He hung up the phone and looked at his face in the mirror, he thought why am I smiling, I mean weird I guess."

He grabbed his coat and briefcase and locked his door, said goodnight to Ms. Piper, and left. He figured he would walk there not far. As he walked he thought of questions he wanted answers to before he allowed Stephen to invest. Like where are you from? Family? Job? I mean I know nothing about him. I know if I can't get information my friend can. He thought about it to the hotel. Once there he went to the desk and asked if they could let Mr. McAllester know Mr. Stevenson was here, the girl behind the desk smiled," Right away Mr. Stevenson." She picked up the phone and called his room, " Mr. Stevenson is here for you. I will tell him." She hung up the phone and told Kahi that Mr. McAllester would be right down. Khai smiled, ''Thank you." She giggled and said anytime. She was blushing as she thought he was cute. " May I ask your name?" asked Khai, " My name is Michelle." " That is a pretty name for a pretty girl." Michelle blushed more and thanked him. Just then Stephen came up to the desk and asked what was going on, he sounded mad. Khai smiled, " I was just talking to MIchelle here while waiting for you." Stephen looked at Michelle and shivers went down her back. He scared her but the other one was nice and handsome.

Stephen and Khai walked into the dining room where there was a table ready for them. Khai said, " This looks nice, thank you." Stephen just smiled as he thought I AM going to make you mine. They began eating, Stephen had ordered for them, Steak with mushrooms and garlic, Baked potato with butter, green beans with sesame seeds served with a sweet red wine. Khai thought this was rice. " Stephen, can I ask you something ?" " Sure, you can ask me anything. I am an open book to you, " " Why do you want to invest in my company? I mean I have never heard of you, I know nothing about you. Yet you want to invest in my company." Stephen smiled, " Yes I do want to invest. In your company, I have been following you and your company for some time and I decided it was a safe investment so I decided to contact you and ask if I could invest. It is all very simple really." " Where are you from?" asked Khai " I am from New York, I am 26 years old, not married, no girlfriend, I do not have many friends as I am very secretive about my life, I have been left money when my parents passed away and I invested wisely, therefore, I do not have to work but I do live comfortably. You want to know anything else ?" Khai sat there and just looked at Stephen, " I just wanted to know why you wanted to invest and where you lived was all. Sorry,y I asked." Khai went back to eating and they finished dinner in silence.

Once they were done eating, Stephen asked Khai to come up to his room and Khai declined the offer. " I have things to do for work and I must be going. Thank you for dinner and I will see you sometime." He grabbed his jacket and left the hotel. Stephen watched Khai walk away. He felt very sad and wondered why he got mad at Khai for asking normal questions. Well, I will apologize and do what I can to earn his trust, and then I can make him mine. Stephen went back up to his room and laid on the bed thinking of Khai aroused him and he decided he need relief and so he went downstairs and to the back alleys near the hotel and found and sweet young thing, He took her right there on the street and when he was done he drank her sweet blood and he left her slumped over in the alley. The whole time he thought of Khai and how he would take him like this but he would not kill him he would turn him and they would be together forever. Stephen walked back to the hotel and went right to sleep.
