It wasn't long before Aziya took a hold of the book, but something was different when she held it. It was as if her senses became heightened, she opened the book to where she left off, skimming over the once blank page. Letters began igniting the page forming words, words forming sentences until the rest of the book was littered with words in an old tongue.
It was a very different language, incomprehensible to the human eyes. There were symbols, and drawings of a multitude of creatures.
Aziya slammed the book shut, hesitant to explore it's contents as it awakened something unfamiliar within her.
The three began walking towards the trees they had arrived out of, and with each step they took something seemed different, the hairs on the back of their neck were standing tall and goosebumps littered their skin.
Their vision seemed to become scattered as if the world around them was morphing, however as their vision expanded, it became more comfortable and familiar. They passed through some sort of vortex
As their vision was restored to something a lot more normal, their bodies weren't. It had a level of transparency to it.
Aziya raised her hand to her face and her skin had a fiery blue glow to it, as opposed to Amryn who possessed a subtle blue tinge to her transparent hand.
"Welcome to Telestia," Hargreaves said excitedly.
Aziya looked over Hargreaves, he had large white wings and his eyes held a white glow, similar to the one Carlyle had.The surrounding was dark, void, outer worldly. It was littered by stars and below them was the
"Earth?!" Amrin interjected, the surprise evident in her voice. Her eyes widened at the events playing out in front of her.
Her eyes ran over her body with alarm and then darted to the empty space below her only to see the planet she once inhabited.
The earth was on it's regular axis but time seemed to be moving fast paced, the clouds on the earth seemed to be going in time-lapse.
"What is this?" asked Aziya
"This, Aziya, is who you are." Hargreaves said.
Aziya looked around at the endless void littered with planets and stars and then back at Hargreaves.
"People like you Aziya, are meant to be kept ignorant," he started, "In Abscondito.." he continued.
He snapped his fingers and they were back at the school, in his office. Amrin was no where to be found it was just Aziya and Hargreaves.
She looked around at the walls of book she had seen not only a few days ago, and her eyes landed on the empty spot where her book was. She looked down at her hands and there was the book.
Within the unseen..
Aziya's eyes looked over her body to see her skin in tact, and she was now wearing her uniform, the same uniform she was wearing on her first day. It was as if the last two weeks didn't happen.
"What day is it?" she asked
"It's your first day at Lancaster Hall," he said approaching Aziya.
"And You will have no recollection of the last couple days," he finished staring into her eyes.
A jolt ran through Aziya's body and as Hargreaves said, She remembers nothing.
She exited the office, with book in hand and glazed eyes.
