You groaned as you entered the Castle again, walking the stairs back up to the wine room.

Let's get this over with you opened the door and walked inside, leaving the door open this time.

"Took you long enough" your Countess was sitting down on a chair, scribbling down into a book. You didn't bother apologising and watched her from afar,

"What is it that you needed me for again?" you asked, sounding a bit impatient. She looked up from the notebook, raising an eyebrow,

"You need a few manners teached to you, don't you?"

"I never was a Maiden, I just became one in a day. So yes, I actually do"

She stood up and walked over to you, you backed away and stopped against a wall.

Shit...

She grabbed you by the neck and extracted her claws from her other hand, glaring at you.

"Such rude behaviour. Maybe I should just cut off your little tongue~" she raised her hand. You struggled to breathe and gripped your hands around her hand, trying your best to remove it. She laughed at you and let go, making you fall to the ground. You breathed in as much air as possible and tried to calm your heart. Lady Dimitrescu chuckled and retracted her claws in the meantime,

"Take this bottle with you and go into the basement. I want you to fill it up with new wine" she looked to the wine bottle you cleaned the other day. You slowly got up and held your neck in pain. Your Countess sat back down on the chair and continued to write down in the book, grabbing the bottle you quickly left the room.

She's so damn tall and that's unfair... you whined to yourself and walked down the stairs, back to the basement where your cell was. You walked deeper into the basement and suddenly you heard laughter followed with a few silent screams. You ran towards the sounds and saw the three daughters around one familiar body.

"Magnolia!" you yelled in shock and ran to her bloody body, putting the wine bottle aside.

"Oh this is going to be twice as fun, seeing her cry while her friend is dying in front of her!" Cassandra laughed and the other two joined in. You growled at them and pulled Magnolia onto your lap,

"Hey! Hey! Magnolia. You're not going to die, I said that we're going to leave and we are, alright?!" you tried to keep her awake and looked at her wounds, which were pretty bad.

"Y/N..just look at me. It's my turn now. I knew it since yesterday. Whenever a new Maiden joins, the one who worked here longest always dies next..." her nose started bleeding and she started to cough up blood.

"Shit, shit, shit, shit! Stop saying that! You are the only sane person inside this Castle, don't leave" the laughter of the daughters got on your nerve, making you even more frustrated. Magnolia stroke your face and smiled through the immense pain she was going through,

"You'll do just fine and hey...I finally get to meet her again..." she closed her eyes and let death get her peacefully. You didn't want to believe that she just died, right after you were forced to work here. You checked her pulse and started to lose all hope, tears rolled down your face and you punched the ground, again and again and again.

"Aww. So sad~" the daughters laughed again and pulled you away from her body. One held you tightly and made you watch as they undressed Magnolias dead body putting her on a machinery. Her body had a bunch of scars, making you cry even more.

"You are sick fucks! You are sick! Just sick!" you tried to shake the daughter off of you but she wasn't fazed by any of your moves. The other two started to turn a wheel, which squeezed Magnolias blood out of her body into a barrel, it had a small faucet on the side, Bela, who was the blonde one, put the wine bottle over it and turned the faucet on. The sound of her blood dripping into the barrel and filling the wine bottle was going to haunt you for life, you closed your eyes and didn't want to see any of it anymore, but then the cracks of her bones startled you, you wanted it to just end already.

After a long while, the daughter let go of you, shoving you to the floor. You wiped your tears away and didn't look up, if you did you would just see her body all hollow and empty. Bela gave you the bottle and made you look at her,

"You better go to Mother quickly before the same happens to you~" she laughed with her sisters while you grabbed the bottle and ran out of the basement. You looked at the wine bottle and felt sick, everything around you was moving, you wanted to leave. Magnolia was now dead and bottled away in this Castle inside this stupid bottle. You walked up the stairs and held your stomach, feeling the urge to just let it all out, but you kept your cool. You opened the door to the wine room and put the wine bottle on the table.

Your Countess smiled and took the bottle, labeling it, she then put it next to the other bottles,

"How about another taste test, hm? This time we have fresher wine~" she didn't turn around and just waited for your triggered reaction, but instead you didn't answer at all. You were done and wanted the day to end, you wanted to forget today and pretend nothing ever happened.

Lady Dimitrescu turned around and walked towards you, grabbing your face to make you look at her,

"You sure are quite foolish, aren't you?"

You didn't answer.

"You knew all along and yet you pretended that it wasn't true. You cleaned up her blood and used her bucket to do so too" her grip tightened.

"You are disgusting" is all you replied with. She chuckled and let go of you,

"Your thoughts don't concern me in the slightest. You're free now for today" she turned away and looked at another wine bottle. You walked out of the wine room and closed the door behind you,

"I'm free now for today, hah.." you walked down the stairs, quietly through the hallway to the Castles entrance.

"I'm free forever" you said and opened the doors.
