"dad, it's way too early." ariana groans as they check out of the hotel.

zayn sighs as he puts his hands on his daughters back. he knew she'd be the hardest to get up.

zayn was tired himself. after last night- with harry saying yes to his proposal- the two didn't get much sleep.

zayn smirks as he thinks of last nights events.

"i know baby. but you can get some sleep on the jet, yeah?"

ariana sighs but nods nonetheless. zayn finished checking them out as ari grabs harry's hand and walks ahead of her parents. she was ready to get some much needed sleep.

"so, how'd it go last night?"

"he said yes." zayn whispers.

"congratulations." nina stops them before hugging zayn.

ari turns and spots them.

"i think the mystery woman is my mom."

harry was confused until she turns and sees nina and zayn laughing behind them.

"ari, i just think they're relationship is better with being divorced. it's nothing." harry states.

"harry, why else would my mom be here? dad wanted an excuse to bring her so he made up this stupid family trip. probably why they wanted me to spend so much time with her. they knew once we get home and they tell me id be skeptical."

harry grabs ari's hand.

"trust me when i tell you, they're not back together. okay?"

last night, before him and zayn made love all night, zayn told harry nina knew about them. at first he freaked because he thought she'd tell ari before they do. but zayn stated she wouldn't.

ariana sighs.

"i guess you're right."

harry gives her a smile.

"of course im right. im always right babes."

ariana playfully rolls her eyes as she gently pushes her best friend.

once their uber driver got there they all got into the car.

"so did everyone enjoy themselves?" zayn asked.

"i had a great time daddy. thank you for this."

"it was amazing trip zee. thanks. it was nice to not worry about anything for awhile."

"and you harry?"

harry looks up at zayn with a loving smile.

"i had the best time of my life. thanks you."

zayn gives him a smile back.

"you welcome."

"oh! can we take another trip soon?" ariana asked. she was a very smart girl but she was completely oblivious to the fact that her best friend and dad were completely in love with each other.

"maybe baby. but first we got to get back to reality and you two start school soon. we gotta make sure that you have everything you need. speaking of, i got a surprise for you princess."

"really? what is it?"

"you'll just have to wait until we get home to find out."

ariana sighs.

"fine! harry, wanna go to the mall when we get back home?"

"um—"

harry looks over at zayn. they had a few things to discuss. he didn't know if he should or not.
