Cooking With Thor

"Four cans of red beans." You say to yourself as you move cans of food around in the cupboard, looking for the beans.

Steve is sitting on the couch watching the news and Wanda is leaning against the counter of the island ready to assist if you need her.

Thor stomps loudly down the stairs and stops on the last step. He spots you in the kitchen and his whole face lights up.

"What are you cooking?" He asks as he walks around the island.

"Chili." You answer. "Hand me the can-opener."

He digs around in the drawers until he finds the can-opener and he hands it to you. He walks over to the large pot on the stove and takes a giant whiff of it.

"You should add the seasonings now." Wanda says.

Bucky walks into the living room and goes to watch the news with Steve. He slumps down on the opposite couch with a sigh.

"We have a chili seasoning packet." You look at Wanda.

She nods. "That will work."

"You should put lemon juice in it." Thor grins.

Wanda shrugs. "I've seen some recipes that use lemon juice. It helps the flavor."

"Okay yeah, put a few drops in while I open up the other cans." You turn to the cabinets to grab the rest of the cans.

"I need to go talk to Vision." Wanda stands straight. "I'll be back."

You open one can at a time, throwing away the tops that don't need a can opener. You slide them over to the pot and pick up one of the cans of beans.

"Thor!" You grab a bottle out of his hands. "I said lemon juice!"

"Right," He pauses, looking extremely comfused. "Lemon juice."

"This is lemonade." You gesture to the name on the bottle.

"That is the same exact thing." He looks at the pot and back to you.

"No lemonade has sugar. Lemon juice is sour." You say as you spin the cap on. You lean over and peer into the pot. "How much did you put in there!" You squeeze your way in between him and the stove.

The chili is soupy with lemonade.

"We can make another." He suggests.

"I used the last of the ground beef." You complain as you stir the food.

Natasha enters the kitchen and stands beside Thor. "You could do vegeterian."

"I guess." You sigh. "It won't be as good though."

"If no one wants this I'll eat it." Thor takes the pot off the stove, grabs a serving spoon and walks to the living room. He plops down onto the couch next to Bucky and scoops up a spoon full of lemonade chili meat.

Bucky's face almost turns green as he scoots away.

Natasha grabs a new pot and sets it down on the stove. "Don't ever let him help again." She smirks.

"We need a new rule that says Thor is forbidden from entering the kitchen." You snigger.

Tony walks in and grabs a glass. "Y/N where'd you put your suit I need to add a few modifications." He says as he opens up the fridge.

"In my roo-"

He cuts you off. "Who put googly eyes on the milk jug!" He slams the jug down onto the counter.
