Author's POV

Y/n's PAST

You are Kang Y/n, daughter of the Mafia King of the country. You belong to a pureblood Mafia family. For generations, your family is involved in the mafia world. You were raised to Kill and Rule. 

Your father is a ruthless Mafia King. He is always involved in his dark world. Never in life, you saw him smiling or talking like a normal person. He has a serious dark aura. His words are always commands for others. The Min family, successful weapon dealers, married their daughter to him. But because of his nature, she couldn't tolerate him and left him. He had a son with her whom she took along with him. Min Yoongi, your elder stepbrother.



Your father was married again in the Rhee family again for business purposes and they had you. Yoongi's mother died when he was 13. You were 6 at that time. Mr. Kang bought Yoongi with him as he needed an heir. Your mother treated him as her own son. For Yoongi you were very precious he never let anyone hurt you or let you cry. He was stern by nature and cold.  But to you, he was always polite, he always treated you like his own sister. You too were very happy as you got a companion and an elder brother. You were living like a princess. Your mother died when you were 10, because of sickness.

Mr. Kang started Yoongi's training, he had no idea why was getting trained. As a child, he didn't think much. Mr. Kang used you to make him train. He used to tell him that he needs to be stronger and more powerful if he wants to protect you. He got trained until he was 18, but then he understood Mr. Kang wants him to be the heir. You were 11 at that time. Lots of fights and arguments took place. Yoongi denied that he doesn't want to be in Mafia. Mr. Kang threatened him that if he will deny, he will make you the heir. At last, Yoongi had agreed, but unfortunately, you heard it. 

You don't want him to spoil his life for you. You and Mr. Kang got into an argument. You told him that you are ready to be the heir and warned him not to include Yoongi in between. Mr. Kang was hesitant about your capability. You were a kid at that time. But then your grandfather suggested to him that you need to prove yourself to be the heir. Your grandfather is opposite to your father. He knows humanity and knows how to respect it. He loved you very much. He knew you are perfect for the gang leader. You used to respect your grandfather a lot.

Your training started. At the age of 17, you were fully trained and you proved yourself by defeating one of the powerful gang members. From then all your princess life vanished and darkness embraced you.

Yoongi still didn't want you to be in this dark world. But you forced him to accept your decision. Your grandfather made you the heir of the Mafia. Also, he named all his businesses under Yoongi's name. Yoongi was sent abroad. Because your father thought he is your weakness. You will become weak if he will be around. And as he went, your father started pulling you deep into this world. 

All your emotions and fear are drowned with time. You lost your happiness, yourself. You became a monster who knows only to kill. The country people feared the "Kang"  name. No one ever saw you because your father doesn't want them to know a girl is ruling them. He believes if they would know it was a girl, it would arise problems and will lead to their destruction. 

You only show up to people who need to get killed. You are like an assassin to your dad. You killed whoever he says without thinking. He had you wrapped around his fingers. 
Eunha was with you from your childhood. She was the daughter of your father's trusted man. She was your associate. She was grown to protect you and obey you always. A slave for life. But you always treated her like a sister. When you decided to be heir, it became necessary for her to get trained too. She was forced for it. But you didn't know it, you got to know it much later. 

To make things more worst your father engaged you in another mafia family. You were engaged to Song Jungwan. He would like to control you always. You never liked him. He took care of you but still, your heart never accepted him. You did catch him with other girls, but he would make you believe he only loves you. You weren't a fool, you were running a whole gang and business in your 20s. You distanced yourself from him after warning him.

This life suffocated you so much that you finally decided to run away. You had a gang of your trusted people. Both in the business and the mafia world. Eunha and they helped you escape, but Eunha didn't leave your side. You left that place but were still attached to the gang. Your gang was dependent on you. 

 Your father tried so hard to find you but he failed since the spies you had in the gang always inform you of the details. You manage the gang without getting involved, just by commands, and the rest Eunha handles. 

You sent a message to your father that you will manage the gang but will not return ever. He had to agree since he doesn't have any option. He understood you had spies in the gang. Your gang members are very loyal to you. They inform you of every bit of information and help you to escape. That's the reason your father never gets hold of you.  

And now in Kim's Family, he can never think about it. Yoongi was very worried when he got to know that you ran away. But you sent your spy telling him that you are safe wherever you are. 

It's been a whole year since you left your father's side. You saw the world, you learned to smile again, you started feeling your emotions again. But the nightmares never stopped of you killing and torturing the people. You can't say it's a mistake, it was a sin you did. It was your past and you never want to go there. You are happy here with Taehyung, Eunha, and Kim's family. 

You won't regret being the heir as you saved your brother. But the things you did makes you feel horrible.
Your father never gave up he still trying to find you. And you are still running away. 

I think I didn't write this chapter well........It's kinda boring........
Anyway, I will try to put my best into the next one.
