Author's POV

[Next Morning]

You were in the kitchen with Jisoo guiding the maids to make breakfast.

You woke up early today. From today your life changed. You let go of your past and started a new journey. You are not scared or lonely. You have a family now. You aren't afraid of anything. You have Taehyung beside you.

Now you have responsibilities on your shoulder and you must try your best to give it all.

You yourself were making the breakfast actually with guiding maids about other things. Jisoo was accompanying you but she doesn't like cooking.

Of course, being the daughter of a rich businessman why would she involve herself in household chores she would rather go to Industry for deals. She wasn't spoiled though but she had no interest in household chores. And great thing Jin likes cooking so this difference makes their relationship beautiful.
Jisoo could manage their house and responsibilities well enough. She was a professional. She had a great balance in life. You wished to be like her.

[In Your Bedroom]

Taehyung woke up and sat straight. He looked next to him and you were not there he guessed you would be downstairs most probably cause you ain't going office today, you both are on leave.

Taehyung got ready and moved downstairs.

[Hall]
He came downstairs and his eyes only searched for you. Everyone was sitting there except you and Jisoo who was in the kitchen. He settled and just then you and the maids came out with breakfast. Jisoo and you served everyone and sat beside your husband.

You smiled at Taehyung and he smiled back. Seeing you doing your responsibilities he was happy. He promised himself he will try to be a responsible husband and will work out this relationship.

[Time Skip]

It's been three days since your marriage. The days were smooth except for a few interactions with Taehyung. Being with him makes you extremely intimidated and shy.

Sometimes while sleeping his arm would rest on your waist. And even today you both wake up together in each other's arms.

You quickly went to the bathroom and got ready.

Following you Taehyung too got ready and you both went downstairs.

Taehyung : Dad I will be coming office today.

Mr. Kim : You are just married Tae. You don't need to go

Taehyung : It's just today as there is a virtual meeting with a foreign client. Besides, I want to make the announcement of our marriage too.

You got nervous. This announcement won't create trouble for you, right?

Mr. Kim : Alright. Take Y/n with you. Me and your mom will come later.
Taehyung nodded.

[Time Skip]

You and Taehyung arrived at the Company. This was your first time visiting the company. You were a little nervous and shy. You were here as Mrs. Kim, wife of Taehyung, people will recognize you with his identity here, as his wife. You know the background of this company.

It was self-established by Taehyung himself. You were proud of his hard work and achievement.

People were bowing to you both on your way and you were greeting them back too. They were curious to know who you are. Why were you with Taehyung? Why there were so many guards around the company etc?

Taehyung took you to his cabin.

Taehyung : You can stay here. I have a virtual meeting it will take an hour or so.

You nodded and sat on the couch. You started listening to music on your phone.

Taehyung went to his desk and opened his laptop.

An hour passed Taehyung was still speaking to a person on the opposite screen.
You admired him. He looked so fine while focused. His eyes met you and went back on screen. You looked away.
You turned off the music and heard the voice coming from the laptop. It was familiar but you couldn't recognize it.
The meeting ended and Taehyung shut down the laptop. He called his secretary to his cabin.

He looked at you while coming towards you.

Taehyung : I noticed how you were staring at me back then. Don't do that again.
You crossed your arms and looked at him.
Y/n : Or else?
Taehyung : I might not stop myself from eating you.

Your eyes went wide. Before you could say anything his secretary came in.

Taehyung : Janice is everything prepared in the Meeting hall?
Janice : Yes Sir. Everyone is waiting for you.

Taehyung nodded.

Taehyung was holding your hand guiding you to Meeting Room. There were a few of his Company executives, Higher board members, and his secretary.

They all stood up and bowed.

Taehyung signed them to settle down.

A few minutes later whole Kim Family arrived.

Mr. Kim stood up and all attention went to him.

Mr. Kim : You all might be wondering why you all are here on sudden notice of a meeting. The reason is my youngest son the CEO of this well-established company is now married.

They all started whispering to each other and we're looking at you. But you were calm enough you are not a girl who would get intimidated by these things.

Mr. Kim : My son, Kim Taehyung is married to Choi Y/n. I hope you all give them your blessings and well wishes.

The people present started clapping.

Mr. Kim : Also, I want to announce that 50% of Taehyung's assets from this company are now under Y/n's name.

All the people there were shocked including you but Taehyung was calm. You felt Taehyung would be angry that how can his father just give away 50% of his hard work. But Taehyung seemed unaffected by this.

Mr. Kim : Their marriage was private. So I invite you all to the party we have organized today night for the celebration. Every employee of the whole Kim Empire is invited.

People were astonished. The Board members came and congratulated you both.

As people were leaving the room. You went to Taehyung. He was doing something on his phone.

Y/n : Taehyung?
Taehyung : Hmm...
Y/n : Um Are you upset about what Dad said earlier?

Taehyung knew you would bring up this topic he sensed your discomfort the moment Mr. Kim announced about shares.

Taehyung : No. In fact, I am good with it. You are my wife you have rights to my things as I said earlier be it in Company too.

You couldn't say anything further. You just nodded. Is this how they treat their daughter-in-law? This family is really a blessing to you.
