They reach home in a while and Virat and Mohit help Sai in coming out. Virat holds her hand while his other hand was around her shoulder and Mohit carried all their bags inside.
Aai came to the door with a aarthi ki thaal with a smile and happy teary eyes seeing her daughter come back home fine.
Sai smiled seeing her and was about to hug her when Devi came running to Sai and she was jumping happily seeing Sai, and so by mistake she put her foot on Sai's foot, thereby the sandal that devi was wearing caused a mark on Sai's foot.
S- Ouchh!! (Sai winced in pain in a whisper that was not audible to others)
D- Sai! Sai! Sai! (She said excitedly)
Sai was in pain but she did not show it nor did she say it to Virat because she thought that her devi tai would feel bad when she gets to know that that she was hurting her Sai, even though unknowingly. So she just smiled.
But is it possible that Sai is in pain and Virat doesn't get to know about it?
He could see the mixed expressions of pain and happiness on her face.
V- kya hua Sai? (he asked)
S- kuch nhi... (giving a small smile)
Virat knew her well, so he asked again.
V- Sai tum thik ho na?
S- haan virat sir! (She whispered, pain visible in her voice)
She looked down at her leg and then at Devi tai and smiled as she hugged her. Virat followed her gaze and his eyes fell on Devi tai's foot that was on Sai's.
He immediately gestured about it to Mohit with his eyes, to take devi tai back. He himself couldn't do it because he was holding Sai and he didn't want to leave her, that too now that she was more in pain.
Mohit came forward and pulled back devi.
M- Tai, Tai....kaku ko aarthi karne dijiye, vahini abhi aayi hai na .... Aap unse baad me aaram se mil lena...??
D- Okay! (She said smiling and stepped back)
Sai's foot was extremely hurting her. She wasn't even able to stand and a tear dropped from her eyes as her hold on Virat's hand tightened for support.
Virat realised her grip going tighter due to the balance that she was trying to hold on.
He looked at her and wiped her tear. She turned and looked at him, while he moved his hand on her waist and her hand on his shoulder, and picked her up in his arms, again. Sai's eyes went wide again.
S- ye aap kya kar rahe hai Virat sir? Sab log dekh rahe hai...please mujhe niche utariye!
She requested to him, embarrassed looking at the few people standing inside, seeing them with wide eyes.
