He moved closer to her lips and so did Sai. They were going to kiss but before that Virat's phone rang. Virat groaned in irritation.
V- Uhhh....hamesha koi na koi beech me aa jaata hai...kisi din phone hi rod dunga!
Sai giggled.
S- aap baat kijiye me fresh hoke aati hu.
V- hmm...
Sai goes to washroom while Virat picks up to see whose call it was and when he realises it was Sai's doctor, he immediately picked up.
V- Hello?
Do- aapne call kiya Mr.Chavan?
V- Ji doctor Sai ke baare me kuch baat karni thi.
Do- ji boliye.
V- Doctor...aapne kaha tha ki jis insaan ne sai ke saath wo sab kiya...wo agar uske saamne aayega to use panic attacks aane lagenge.
Do- ji haan.
V- hume pata chal gya hai ki wo kaun hai. She's my brother's wife Patralekha.
Do- Oh....toh aap dhyaan rakhiyega ki wo aapki wife ke saamne na aaye.
V- wo to nhi hoga doctor... kyunki ab woh iss ghar me nahi rehti but problem ye hai ki aaj hum bahar gye the vahan, Sai ne patralekha ke baare me ekdam casually pucha. It shocked me kyunki aise laga jaise woh bhul hi gayi ki kal kya hua tha.
Do- ohh so this is the case.
V- yes doctor.
Do- Mr.chavan...I think your wife is suffering from Dissociative amnesia.
(It's a disease in which you forget a particular traumatic event and behave as if that incident hasn't even occured)
Virat was shocked. He had prayed that this should not have happened but this was the reality.
V- What can I do then Doctor? (he asked in a low voice)
Do- You just need to take care of her. Make sure that she doesn't face that person again or r even if she faces her that person doesn't remind her about that incident or as far as I know she tried to snatch you away from your wife, this shouldn't happen again, she just needs you with her and some love and affection and she might get back well soon!
V- Okay Doctor. I get it. I will take care of her. Thank you so much.
Do- My pleasure. Take care.
He keeps the call and sits on the bed with a sigh. His eyes moistened and tears flowed down, thinking about Sai's condition. He was angry at pakhi for making his Sai suffer like this.
He promised himself that he would kill her if she does something like this again.
He closed his eyes as his tears continued to fall.
