Sai walks into their room with a big tray of food in her hand and places it on the table.
She turns towards the cupboard and sees Virat shuffling through the files and she could say, by the way he was just flipping the files, he was in a bad mood. Reason she knew.
S- Virat sir, dekhiye aaj khane me kya hai... (she said excitedly with a thought of cheering him up)
V- kya hai khaane me Sai? (He asked in a dull tone)
Virat doesn't reply and goes and sits on the bed with the number of files.
Sai goes and sits on the other side of the bed with her back facing Virat, showing him that she was angry, when actually she was just faking it to get his attention.
Virat looks at her back and realises that she got angry because he didn't reply her properly and was ignoring her for no reason.
He creased his forehead with his thumb and stood up to go and sit beside Sai.
Sai wasn't facing him but he was only looking at her. He was about to say something when Sai interrupted.
S- It's okay! (She said crossing her arms across her chest)
V- huh? (he asked confused)
S- Sorry bolne wale the na? (she asked raising her eyebrows)
V- Haan! (He shrugged his shoulders)
Both looked at each other for a second and burst into a laughter. In the midst of their laugh, sai admired him laughing while he was busy holding his stomach controlling his laugh.
V- sirf tum jaanti ho mera mood kese thik karna hai! (he said looking at her as his laugh subsided)
S- woh to hai...vese vahaan dekhiye... (She smiled and turned his face towards the table where food was kept)
Virat's eyes beamed in happiness seeing a variety of food in front of his eyes.
V- Saii...ye sab to mera favourite hai... Malai Kofta... Butter Naan..Paneer Tikka..Gobi Manchurian....Gulab Jamun... Wow... ye sab mere favourite hai Sai... tumhe kese pata? (He said moving his eyes through all the dishes )
Ye sab meri bhi favourite dishes hai ;)
S- me aapki saari pasand jaanti hu! (she said smiling at him and he turned his face to her)
V- ek aur pasand hai meri, jo tum nahi jaanti! (he said looking straight into her eyes)
S- kya?
V- wakt aane par bataunga! (He smiled)
S- acha theek hai baba... abhi wakt khaana khaane ka hai... chale?
Virat nodded and excitedly got up and almost ran towards the food. He took his plate out and Sai served him and he started with the starters, his most favourite, paneer tikka ;)
