Our love story is kind of bullsh*t.
Well, I really don't want to call it love story but our children and some Greek hopeless romantics wanted to romanticize it.
Let's just call it a Marriage Story.
When Kronos' sons decided it's a great idea to split and rule domains, Zeus as always, cheated (as he always does). It's a rumor actually (a very convincing one at that) but long story short, Zeus got the sky, Hades with the Underworld, and Donny got the sea.
Donny went to the our palace, negotiated with my father blah blah blah, and in the end, he became king. I wasn't in his coronation because I really don't think he's fit to rule.
Now, Zeus may be the notorious playboy but Donny is famous for having weird kinks and pursues coitus in a whole new level.
First of all, he's childish like the time he lost to his niece, he engaged in sexual activity with Athena's priestess on her own temple. I really felt sorry to the girl. She gave birth to a flying horse, I mean, how did she even let it out of her, you know. The next thing I knew some hero had her beheaded. Poor girl.
Second, he's really petty and doesn't easily realize that no means no. Like the time when he pursued Demeter. She doesn't want to get involve in Donny's naughty ways so she did what she thinks it's the best thing to do to ward off a pervert. Transform into a horse. According to one of my sisters (completely unreliable), Poseidon transformed into guess what.
Yep, you're absolutely right, a freaking HORSE.
He relentlessly pursued her until she gave up and the next thing you know, a goth girl and a talking horse was born. I mean, what's with the horses?
Third, he is arrogant. He sometimes brag about certain things like the size of his you-know-what and his moniker, "The Earth-shaker". It is a nickname that reflects his temper and performance in closed doors.
Fourth, his temper. Like I said previously about his nickname, he apparently gets angry easily that he will create earthquakes and storms. Poor mortals. I'm thankful enough that he tried to be patient and humble in our household.
Last but not the least, the trait that he shared with Zeus, chasing skirts. I won't explain it all because I don't want you guys bored and disgusted. All I can say is that he got many offsprings that made you doubt how the heck it happened.
