Love's Deceit

Moonbyul's POV

Friday 6 am

I've been working the graveyard shift at the diner all week and it's the most exhausting thing ever, not because it's crazy busy in the diner, it's actually the opposite, and usually dead aside from a few stragglers that come in. Yongsun has come to visit me and stay for a few hours when she doesn't have to work at the bar, but she would end up falling asleep in a booth around 2 am. So, I would pour her a cup of coffee and send her home so she can get some rest. She came last night after she worked at the bar, and I sent her home right away when she came through the door and flopped down in a booth, she looked like a train hit her. She had a migraine, which she had been complaining about before she even went to work, but she didn't want to call in on Seulgi, so she went in. I saw her tired red eyes when I finished waiting on a table and sat down in the booth next to her for a few minutes. I knew she was really in pain when she instantly laid her head on my shoulder and exhaled slowly. I called her a cab, not wanting to her drive, and told her to go straight to bed.

I walk into the penthouse after a long boring shift and see she's still asleep since it's so quiet, well aside from Chef playing with a toy. He must have heard the door close because he comes barreling towards me with his ball in his mouth and jumps on my leg. I yawn as I pick him up and rub his head and make my way to the bedroom, where Yongsun is still fast asleep in the middle of the bed. She looks so cute, she's sprawled in the middle of the bed on her back, wearing only a little t-shirt. I set Chef down and lean down to kiss her on the temple as I pull the cover over here before I take a long hot shower and slide in bed next to her.

"Byul?" I hear her ask softly in a raspy voice when I wrap my arm around her waist as I snuggle close behind her and exhale in contentment on the back of her neck, ready to fall asleep.

"It's me, cupcake, how are you feeling?" I ask her while kissing the back of her neck a few times softly.

She shrugs. "Okay, my head still hurts a little."

I frown a little since I assumed her migraine would be gone by now, since I know she's been sleeping for a few hours.

"Did you take any pills?" I ask her while slipping my hand undershirt to rub her stomach slowly.

"Yeah, I did," She replies in a raspy voice. "It'll wear off."

"Okay, we'll try to go back to sleep," I whisper.

"How was work?" She asks me while turning In my arms to face me and opens her eyes.

"It was okay," I smile at her.

She returns the smile and leans forward to kiss me, I melt into her arms and deepen the kiss slowly, shuddering when I feel her tongue slip into my mouth. I still get the same tingly feeling all over my body when I kiss her, I hope and pray that it never goes away. I start to slowly roll on her and moan softly when her hands start to roam my back. I break the kiss and pepper soft kisses on her face.

"Good," She whispers before closing her eyes again.

"Go back to sleep, Yongie," I tell her as I roll off of her and cuddle back behind her, spooning, and hugging her tightly.
