[OLD] Luna Mew Light Kanto Journey

Chapter 29: Lapras Pod! Back to Pallet Town!

After winning the winner's trophy of the Orange League, Luna decided that it was time to get back to Kanto, since the Orange League was now over and done with.

Right now where were riding on Lapras, across the ocean.

"I can't wait to show my trophy and badges to mum and Professor Oak." Luna said fixing her hood.

"I still say that your battle with Drake was amazing Lu it was one of the greatest battle I've ever seen." Tracey said.

"It certainly was," Luna said with a smile, "and now it's high time to head back to Kanto."

"I can't wait to go to Kanto and meet Professor Oak." Tracey said.

Suddenly, Lapras started to speed up in the ocean, like he was getting excited about something.

"Hey, what's wrong Lapras?" Luna asked.

Luna's answer soon came; there in the distance was a school of Lapras.

"Look at all of those Lapras." Tracey said sketching in his pad.

"Hey I wonder if this is the pod that Luna's Lapras was separated from." Misty said.

"Is it true Lapras?" Luna asked, "is this your family?" Lapras nodded, which meant that they had found Lapras's pod at last.

Luna started to remember the promise she made when she caught Lapras, her promise was that she would release him once they found his pod. 'So now I can keep my promise.' She thought. Lapras began to swim to the Lapras pod and called out to them.

The Lapras pod heard Lapras, but ignored him. There was a light blue Lapras in the pod and she wanted to call out to Luna's Lapras, but the other Lapras made her ignore him.

Lapras tried to call out to the Lapras pod again, but the leader of the Lapras pod used water gun and mist attack to get away from Lapras and the gang.

Lapras began to cry and Luna hugged him to calm him down.

"What happened?" Misty asked.

"I don't know," Tracey said, "something isn't right here."

The gang went to the nearby island, Tarroco Island, to find some answers.

They found the Officer Jenny and told her about their encounter with the Lapras pod.

"I see," Officer Jenny said, "well I think I know why that Lapras pod ran away from you. You see there have been some Pokémon poaching pirates around here. Their leader is called Captain Crook and he and his crew go around areas where Pokémon are not allowed to be captured, and then they catch Pokémon to sell at a tremendous price."

"What?! Those jerks!" Luna said angrily, "How can they do this to Pokemon?"

"It's no wonder that Lapras pod are afraid of humans." Misty said.

"We should do something about this," Luna said, "I mean we can't let those pirates get away with this."

"I agree," Tracey said, "but what can we do?"

"Well for starters," Luna said, "we should look for the Lapras pod before they do."

"But Luna those Lapras will be scared of us." Tracey said.

"Maybe so, be we've got to do something," Luna said, "besides we promised Lapras we would reunite him with his pod again."

Tomo, Misty and Tracey agreed with Luna, something had to be done about this.

Luna told Tomo to stay at the Pokémon Centre with Growlithe, just in case it could be dangerous and Luna didn't want Tomo to be caught in something as dangerous as this.
