The Demon and The Bird

"What happened here, Akio?"

Crap." Muttered Akio, realizing he was in a tough situation  "Tatsuya... he's injured."

"No way..." Reina's head lowered, fists tightened. "It's the Supra isn't it?"

"How did you... Yeah..."

"Stupid idiot..." The girl muttered, "Did you call an ambulance?" Reina then bent her knees to check her friend,

"Yes, he told me before he went out."

"Huh?"

"Must've been a reflex, but I don't know either." Akio sighed, "I thought they were racing, that's why I joined in the pursuit. Turns out he was there..."

Reina then walked over to Akio, grabbing both of his shoulders before shaking him violently, "Must you always think with your foot!? Where's your brain and sense!?"

Soon the ambulance came and Tatsuya was immediately taken in, with Reina and Akio following. Arriving at the hospital, surprisingly all the staff know the Blackbird. Turns out the place where Tatsuya was hospitalized was the place where he works, which is good since Akio and Reina could trust them all with the procedures. Once he was all set, he was bedridden with arm slung and neck cast. The two were sitting down on the couch inside the hospital room, being the doctor he is, Tatsuya has the biggest patience room.

"Neck's a bit broken, arm fractured due to impact and a mild concussion." the nurse explained, "Can't believe doc's got into an accident."

"Same, he's a good driver..." said Akio, Reina nudged him not risking any information leaked. "Uh yeah, that guy who crashed into him got away."

"Hit and Run huh? Poor doc."

"So how long till he gets better? Hypothetically speaking?" asked Reina,

"The neck, if he sticks with his treatment, would be good in two or three months, his arm on the other hand." the nurse explained with no pun intended, Akio chuckled as Reina glared at him, "No pun intended but, his arm would be the longest. Everyone knows about his hobby so, he'd have to be in the passenger seat for a bit." the room atmosphere became heavier, which the nurse leave them to it.

The door then swung open as a middle-aged man entered, hands in both of his pockets, "They seriously thought I was a cleaner or something, how rude..." Then his eyes wandered around the room, seeing a luxury patients room for the first time in his life, admiring it before his eyes landed on the bedridden Rulers of Wangan, "Damn, how the birds have fallen. That guy seriously has a mental problem with wrecking cars. How's the injury?"

"Minor neck injury, heavy arms fracture, and mild concussion," explained Reina, Kitami raised one of his eyebrows,

"He's out cold, doesn't seem like a mild concussion to me,"

The girl shrugged, raising both of her hands,

"Well, his car has better conditions, only a slight scratch, Naka's car though. Three words. Pain in the Ass."

"That's four," replied Akio,

"I'm old, Akio." then the atmosphere went quiet, Reina still unstable, stood up suddenly and went to head outside, Kitami was spooked for a bit by the sudden move. "Woah, missy where are you going?"

"For a ride." her voice was shaky, you could tell she was about to cry by the way she spoke,

KItami then walked in front of Reina, blocking her way. "That car was still out there and you're going for a ride?" Reina then lowered her head, "Are you having a death wish?"
