chapter 9- Plan

It had been around 20 minutes since i last saw peter and i started to get worried. I took out my phone from my pocket and clicked on his name. After a few rings he picked up.

"Hey" he said as he picked it up.

"Where are you?" i asked quickly.

"I'm fine, I'm okay. I'm down the sewer tracking and i gotta stop him before anyone gets hurt" he explained quietly, before continuing, "We need an antidote... do you know how to run a serum?" he asks me quickly.

"Yeah sure i do it all the time" i say sarcastically.

"I'm being serious" he says more sternly.

"dont worry i'll figure it out" i say with reassurance.

"Great, great. I need you to go to Oscorp, access the cross-species files, its the blue serum. File 12389" he explains clearly to me.

"Okay, got it. I'm on my way" i tell him confidently before hanging up and swiftly making my way towards Oscorp.

🍕Peters pov🍕

After coming off the phone with Bailey, i search deeper into the sewers before coming across what seemed to be a lab.

It had differemt chemicals bubbling and machines attached to the wall. The first thing i went to was the computer near the far corner of the small sewer attached lab.

There was a paused video on it so, being me, i unpaused it. It was Dr Connors explaining about his experiment of Cross-Species genetics. As he went on his experiment showed up on his screens of a computer generated verson of a human turning into a lizard. My breath hitched in my throat as he continued to explain saying how this is a gift.

His immediate plan was to spread his 'lizard serum' all over New York from the top of Oscorp tower. Effectively, turning most of its population to lizards. Then it hit me.

"Oscorp..." i say to myself, my breathing becoming heavy.

I immediately called Bailey, putting her on speaker phone.

"He's planning to turn everyone to lizards" i ramble as soon as she picks up.

"Huh?- Wait what?" she asks confused.

"His plan is to possibly, i dont know how but from the top of Oscorp tower, spread the serum through the air. Which is what will turn mostly everyone into lizards" i explain, more clearly.

"He's probably almost there so you've got to hu-" i start before being cut off by a sound a hear behind me.

I put my phone on the side, still being on speaker phone, before turning around to investigate said sound.

I once again came face to face with the lizard (Dr Connors).

"Come for round 2 have you? Peter Parker" he growls before lunging straight for me.

I managed to move out the way in time. the fighting starting up again.

"When are we ever gonna chat?! Fighting is so tiring" i say sarcastically as i web him up for the second time today.

However, he breaks through these webs and jumps on top of me, reaching his clawed hand towards my chest. I tried to stop him, using all the strength i had. But it wasn't enough. He shortly dug his claws into my chest, giving me three nice scratches across the top.

While all this was going on i could hear Bailey shouting over the phone.

Connors and I went silent for a second. On that second Bailey continues what she was saying, unaware of the situation at hand.
