"Hello, princess didn't expect you home so late where have you been" my dad quizzed. "Oh traffic was bad on the way back from my spa retreat with Emma, and I told you to stop calling me that!" I demanded in a jokey way, "not a chance... princess" my dad teased. My dad has called me princess ever since I can remember, maybe it's because I'm his only girl. But I don't know the reason for it.
When the conversation with my father ended I took my bag and went up to my room. I had to tell my best friend Emma all about last night, I think she deserves to know because I used her name instead of Phils to lie to my father.
On the phone to Emma.
"Heyyyyy!" Emma greeted me over the phone
"Hey girlll! you'll never guess who I went on a date to a spa retreat in Scotland with!"
"Omg who?"
"Phil Foden, the one who I've liked for years from the team!"
"Omg tell me all about it!"
"So basically, he took me to this resort in Scotland and we went to the spa in the hotel, then we went into the pool and had our first kiss! Then we had a dinner reservation at this beautiful Italian restaurant in the hotel, god the food was mouthwatering, then we went back to the room and you can guess the rest!"
"Wait you did the dirty on the first date! Y/n you dirty girl" Emma joked.
We spoke on the phone for hours after that.
Later on that night before I went to bed I got a text from Phil.
"Hey beautiful<3" Phil texted
"Hey handsome"
"I wish you were with me right now:) I'm missing you being in my bed" this made me smile
"And I miss sleeping next to you, glad you text before I went to sleep"
"Are you tired gorgeous" he asked
"Yes it's been a long day" I replied
"Ok, I'll let you go to sleep, sleep well"
"Goodnight Phil"
"Goodnight y/n"
I was tossing and turning most of the night, after my night with phil last night I found it hard to sleep without him. So I ended up waking up at 7am when I'd had enough of trying to get some quality sleep.
