( a week after training camp ended)

Even though my dad is a millionaire I still have to earn money for myself, and unfortunately today I have to go back to work.

My alarm woke me up for 7am, I rolled out of bed and took a cold shower to awake me from my slumber.

"Good morning y/n" my father mumbled from his chair, "morning" I say and pull the cereal from the cupboard. I don't acknowledge the amount that I'm pouring until it started to over flow, "for fucks sake!" I groan through gritted teeth and pour them back into the box.

I can already tell that this is going to be a very long day.

Before I can make this morning any worse I decide that I'm going to leave for work early so I have enough time to get coffee.

As I live on the outer skirts of London it's much easier to get to work on the tube. I work at the front desk at a publishing company, I want to be on the publishing side of the business but I have to wait to finish my degree first.

I slide my shoes on and head out of my house.

The walk to the tube station is brisk and more entertaining with music flowing through my ears so I decide to listen to my favourite music on the way there. I look up at the board, 2 minutes until the next northbound train quick. I make it just on time and find myself a seat in the corner or the last carriage and get lost in my thoughts as I prepare for my first day back.

I usually see my co worker John at the small coffee shop near revelation (the publishing company) and he's very kind so hopefully I'll see him today.

"I'll have a latté please" I ask and pull my card from my purse. I pay and the woman behind the counter turns her nose up at me but I can't tell what I've done wrong.

"Hey y/n how was your time off?" Johns kind voice asks, "yeah it was very enjoyable, thank you" I explain and we make our way out of the small coffee shop. "So I heard about your relationship with foden, how do you even know him?" John asks, not being nosy he's just curious, I would be too though so I answer his question. "Well I don't really tell people this because I don't want them to take advantage but I will tell you because of your kindness, my dad is actually Gareth Southgate so I've pretty much just known him for a while now" I tell him. He's absolutely speechless. "Well congratulations on your relationship" he repeated and pulled open the door to our work place.

The day went by slowly. A few drousy calls went by and by the time it was lunch I felt as if it was home time.

Phil: hey y/n, it's been a week since we seen each other so I'm picking you up from work today, send me the address xx

Y/n: 1-2 Dorset rise, on Fleet Street. See you at 5 xx

Now that I know I'm going to see Phil at the end of my shift, I actually have motivation to want to make it to the end of today.

Authors note: I'm sorry this chapter took so long to be written I've just been unmotivated lately.
Fun fact: the address that y/n works at is an actual address of the hotel I stayed in when I was last in London, google it, or not :)
