twelve~ the last day

soon enough the last day here rolled around and now it was the day before we leave this place, and tonight there is a celebration gala, to celebrate the start of this years season start, i decided to go shopping for my outfit for tonight, "phil, want to come shopping with me for tonights gala?" i asked him, he agreed and we headed out to the car.

he's such a good boyfriend, he opened the car door for me, how chivalrous. the car engine revved and we were off to the shopping centre. 

"we should match tonight, because I'm announcing our relationship tonight" I silently screamed with happiness and agreed to matching with him. we walked hand in hand throughout the shopping centre which earned us curious looks but I don't care, our relationship is getting announced tonight anyways. 

we decided to go for navy seems as it was one of the team colours and it looks good on both of us. we decided to go for these...

it was nearly 4:00pm when we got back so we had to get ready as soon as we got back because the gala started at 6:00. I hopped in the shower as soon as we go back and was out by 4:05, then i blow dried my hair and brushed my teeth before doing my hair and make up while Phil was in the shower. I slid my dress on last and then I noticed Phil struggling with his tie, "come here I'll do it" I beckoned him. I helped him with his tie then dismissed him with a swift kiss on the cheek. I put on my heels then we headed downstairs to the car where we was driven to the gala venue. 

"I'm nervous for the announcement tonight" I expressed, "don't worry about it, I don't care what people think anyways" he reassured me and held my hand to comfort me. 

we climbed out of the car and he linked my arm as we walked along the red carpet, the press was clicking photos as we walked along the carpet, we stopped at the top to answer questions. "I have an announcement so listen up! me and this lovely woman i have by my side, y/n Southgate are in a relationship" he announced, my stomach was turning but i was feeling good as now the whole world knew about me and foden. the paparazzi showered us with questions however we dismissed all but two of them because they were personal and unnecessary for them to know and we made our way into the building. 

when i say this place was luxurious i mean exactly that, it was like something from a royal ball, everyone in attendance to this gala was:

- england footballers 

-england football team management and officials 

-goverment officials 

-celebrities 

-english military heros 

etc. 

over all there is about 300 guests in attendance tonight. "would you like a drink love" Phil asked me, my stomach fluttered over the sound of him calling me love, "yes I would love a glass of champagne" I answered and found my way to a table, on my table there was jack, his girlfriend Sasha; a dear friend, mason mount and his girlfriend Chloe and Raheem sterling. "hey y/n, I heard you announced your relationship to the public" jack exclaimed, "yeah! congratulations!" Sasha followed. "thank you Sasha!" I thanked her and pulled her in for a light hug. 

Phil returned with my drink and sat down in the seat I saved him, "I'm back love" he said and handed me my drink.

we chatted with everyone on the table for a while until everyone was called onto the dance floor to dance, he held one arm around my waist and the other held my hand in the air, "this song might just have to be our wedding song darling" he said staring into my eyes and smiling. "would be nice wouldn't it, our first dance song as boyfriend and girlfriend would be our first dance song as husband and wife" I muttered nervously. "we'll just have to see what the future holds won't we now" he said and i put my head against his chest. "I love you y/n Southgate" "I love you Phil Foden". we danced the night away. 

"I'm gonna miss you in my bed every night" he expressed, "me too".
