*Disclaimer: mild cussing.*When you first found out, you simply laughed. Knowing Toshinori you assumed this was an odd joke. You never thought he was even capable of doing so. But you knew something was up. One morning you decided to bring the topic up with him. You weren't really nervous as you expected him to explain the messages and to tell you to stop overthinking so much. But never, even as a pro-hero had you expected what happened next.He froze, his face went solemn. He wouldn't meet your eyes.
"You found out?"
You were shocked, this was not at all the response he had hoped for. He looked disappointed. His face dark.
"Y/N I'm sorry."
Your eyes prickled, tears brimming in the corner of your eyes.
"I've been seeing someone else." He sighed
"What... why?"
"How could you." Your voice was rising dangerously.
"I thought you loved me."
"I did." He wouldn't meet your eyes. His voice was filled with guilt.
"Y/N, I'm the one to blame here. I should've told you sooner.
"I've fallen out of love with you." Tears were flowing freely, you were sinking deeper and deeper into despair.
"Okay." Toshinori knew he'd struck a nerve.
"FINE." You knocked his hand out of your way.
"I guess you never loved me then."
"Everything was a lie, like the majority of my life!" You screamed.
"Goodbye."
With that you slammed the door. Leaving Toshinori to regret everything. Enraged with himself. You cried on the door step. You sat there struggling to put back the pieces that were ripped into shreds from what had just conspired. You didn't know if you would be able to fall in love ever again.
————————————————————————————————————You avoided him like the plague. Ignoring his every effort to speak with you. The news was driving itself insane, trying to figure out what happened between you two. Toshinori found the apartment empty, without you in it. You were a big part of him, and losing you left a gaping chasm that had never been there before. He lost not only his partner, but one of his best friends.
The aftermath of a week ago was still dragging you down. You spent most of your time crying. You'd known him since highschool, in many ways he was still your best friend. Currently you were staying with a friend, not wanting to relive the joyful turned melancholy memories of the first apartment you had bought with someone else.
Your friend sighed, as you continued crying.
"Y/N, you're still crying about him, aren't you?" They shook their head.
"OF COURSE IT'S ABOUT HIM!"
"EVERYONE ALWAYS LEAVES ME, I CAN'T HAVE ANYTHING GOOD IN MY LIFE!" You were violently shaking as you sobbed.
"Shhh, it's alright, I'm not going anywhere. What happened ages ago can't hurt you."
Their hand made small circles on your back.
"Beside, someone's here to see you."
"Tell them to go away." You hiccuped
"Well I'm sorry, because I don't think he's going away." They said as they left to get the door. You were preparing for the worst, you could already see his worried face. You curled into a ball, covering your face. You heard the door close, softly. And felt weight next to you.
"Y/N." The voice was not one you were expecting to hear.
"Shota?" He sighed.
"What are you doing here?" You didn't care, you wanted him to leave.
"Y/N, I know you don't want to see me. I see you've gone back to your old habit of shutting everyone out. But we need to talk."
You couldn't meet his eyes.
"Go away, I don't want to talk." You stated bitterly.
"Well too bad because we are. We are going to sit here and talk like adults."
"I DON'T CARE, I DON'T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING. YOU'RE NOT GETTING ANYTHING OUT OF ME. EXPECIALLY NOT FOR HIM!"
You regretted snapping at Shota but he knew you, coming here was like asking for it.
"Y/N I know you're having a hard time, I know you don't want to hear this, but you're not helping anyone. Expecially not yourself." His voice was low, you knew he had dropped the gentle act.
"For goddamn sake, this isn't even about him. This is about you."
"I know you're hurt. But you're acting like a child. Throwing a fit."
Your insides were on fire.
"SO, Look around, look what happens when I trust people, I deserve to throw a fit, I'M TIRED OF BEING HURT. SO WHAT IF I'M ACTING LIKE A CHILD!" Tears were racing down your cheeks, burning like wildfire.
"Pushing people who care about you away doesn't keep you safe. All it does is leave you with nothing. Then the hurt seeps back in." You knew he was right, but you sure as hell weren't giving him this.
"Do I think what he did to you was right? Hell no. Do I think you deserved any of this? No, but if you keep pushing people away, there's no hand to reach out for, as you drown. You can't heal yourself, if you don't let the healing begin." He was running a hand through his messy hair.
"You need to be the one to take the first step."
"What, are you going to ask me to talk to him now?" You gave a bitter laugh, with no trace of humour.
"As a matter of fact I am going to ask you to talk to Toshinori."
"You're kidding me right now, you're not serious."
"I am. I am very serious." He stated, he gave you a look that said he knew you'd never do it.
"Just to get a better answer, I know Toshinori almost as well as you do, I'm sure there was an alternative motive. It's not like him to cheat on someone he cares about deeply."
You gritted your teeth.
"Whatever, it doesn't matter. Nothing matters, including your bad advice. "
"You're just trying to get on my nerves, because you get sick entertainment out of my suffering. Couldn't find anything more interesting in your boring ass life?" You spat. Shota was pissed.
"Get out, get out of here. I don't need you or anyone else!"
Shota sat up, heading towards the door.
"Where's my vodka when I need it, I don't get enough credit for this shit." He muttered. He turned around to face you once more.
"I know you didn't want to hear any of that, and you seem genuinely tired of me, but please. At least think of what I've said."
You simply grunted. He sighed as he shut the door behind him.

The book of random oneshots
FanfictionAs the title mentions, a random book of whatever I feel like writing. And that I don't feel sucks 100% in that moment. As well as just random updates and things... because. I can safely say, this is mostly just fan fiction, and nothing will belong...
