We approach a door on the upper most level of the building as Hange knocks.

"Enter" A deep voice echos through the door.

"Good day Commander Erwin. We have made a discovery." Hange smiles entering the door. I hesitate, my nerves I guess.

"Go on." Captain Levi gestures to me.

I enter the large room, Commader Erwin is sitting at a large desk in the center of the room with papers stacked up. He is dressed in a clean white collared shirt. I also notice he only has his left arm.

"And who is this?" Commander Erwin questions.

"This is Aurora Garcia. Levi found her injured in the forrest while we were out. She's from another country Commander." Hange explains.

"Oh?"

I should probably start talking.

"Hello sir, I am Aurora Garcia from the country Invicta."

"You have my full attention."

As I explain my full situation to the Commander, he sits with his gaze directed right at me listening intently. Commander Erwin is much younger and more good looking than I pictured him to be. He seems like a meticulous man.

"I see.." the Commander says once I finish recalling my tale once again.

"Commander.. Miss Garcia is a Captain in her country, highly trained." Hange informs.

"How is it you became skilled with our ODM gear?" Commander Erwin questions.

He doesn't miss a thing I see.

"In preparation for this mission, my squad and I trained with ODM gear for 9 months. If we wanted to have a chance in your titan territory, it was necessary."

"I agree." the Commander nods. "Hange. Levi.. This could be a great discovery indeed." He cracks a small smile.

Why did I suddenly get nervous? It is clear this man is methodical and precise. He must see a benefit to keeping me.

"Aurora. Tell me, do you know anything else about the titan shifters?" He asks back to his serious face.

"All I know is that Marley is extremely powerful. All our country has heard is tales of them. It seems Marley is planning to take over other nations. Ours is most likely on their list. All our country wanted is to seek possible alliances against Marley.. All we want is to live free from fear." I conclude.

"I understand. You see Aurora, we have been aware of the titan shifters. We are currently in possession of two." Commander Erwin stands, towering over me.

"Impossible." I blurt. There's no way? Right?

"It is true. Eren Yeager, our ally, has helped us capture another titan shifter. We do know their are at least 3 other titan shifters on the island plotting against us this very moment." Commander Erwin explains.

"Sir.. I can't help but wonder why you are telling me all this." Voicing my inner thoughts.

"It seems to me, you have come to us in our time of need." the Commander expresses.

"Commander, Levi and I both are in agreement. We believe having Aurora help us in this fight would be very beneficial. I believe it could even lead to a first possible alliance with another nation." Hange interjects.

With the mention of Captain Levi's name. I realize he hasn't spoken a word this whole time. I can't help but wondering what he's actually thinking under his unreadable expression.

"I agree with you Hange." The Commander declares. "I still want to hear your thoughts. Levi?" He says turning to Levi. The Captain is sitting at the Commanders small round table a few feet away with his arms and legs crossed.
