We went to the theme park one day when it had opened back up, and we spent it with him and his family. He had this piece of paper he carried with him, and would cross off every ride he went on. He said they're rides he'd been dying to ride.
"This one next, mum! you know how much I've wanted to go on this ride!" He exclaims excitedly.
His mum shakes her head quickly. "Harry, we've been over this, you can't go on a ride like this, they aren't safe for you. You have to go on the safer rides as you've been told."
"But mum-"
"Listen to your mother Harry, she said no." His dad chimed in.
He frowns sadly, and mumbles a quiet, "Okay."
We walk around looking for rides to go on. All looked like so much fun, but for some reason, we weren't allowed to go on them. Or more like, Harry wasn't allowed.
"This one looks safe, can we go on it?" It was one of those rides that only goes in circles at a slightly fast speed. His mum tells him to wait for a second, whilst she goes to talk to the person who owns the ride. She comes back shortly after. "Yes, you can ride it. Did you put on your sunscreen before we came?" Harry nods.
He grabs my hand gently, and we made our way toward the ride. We get on and strap ourselves in.
"Why is your mum so strict about you going on those rides?" I curiously ask. I understand if she thought they were too dangerous or something, but we passed almost every ride that looked the most fun.
"If only you knew." He mumbles. Confusion comes upon me, as I didn't understand what he meant.
The ride starts, and I immediately hold onto the handle in front. Harry looked happy and was smiling the whole time. I on the other hand, was screaming because even though it's only slightly fast, rides like these still make me scared that I might accidentally slip out and fall.
"This is so fun!" He screams happily.
I couldn't even say a word, and just gave him a nod in response.
The ride went smoothly afterwards, but I was still screaming, and Harry just laughs at me. The ride soon finishes and we get off.
"That was so much fun!" He exclaims. "Even though it wasn't a ride I was expecting to go on, I still enjoyed it." He says, honestly.
"To be honest, it was fun for me too." I smiled.
He smiles back, and we walk back to his parents and search for new rides with them. We spent most of the evening getting on rides, and also got something to eat later on. It was great family fun.

Harry and I had cuddled one night and talked about anything. Then I noticed a book on the table beside his bed; It was a journal.
"You have a journal? what do you write in it?" I asked curiously, picking it up.
"Nothing much." He answers. He was right, every page was blank except for the very first page.
"How rare and beautiful it truly is, that we exist."
"I see." I chuckled. He looks at me with a blank expression, but smiled slightly afterwards.
"What does it mean?"
He makes a face I couldn't quite figure out, before answering. "It's lyrics from a song that really spoke to me."
"Interesting. What song?" I asked.
"Saturn, by Sleeping At Last." He answers.
"And it's all you have written in here? what's the meaning behind it? do you know it?" He shook his head.
"I don't know the meaning, but it and the song itself, spoke to me in a way that I feel I can relate to." He says.
"Like how?"
He shrugs. "I'd rather not say it."
"Why not? you never really answer my questions when I ask them sometimes...are you hiding something from me - why you don't always answer?" He frowns immediately at that, and looked nervous.
"No...yes...I- I uhhh...can we just drop it for now? there is something I've been meaning to tell you, but just haven't gotten the courage to. I will tell you, I promise. It's just that-" He cuts himself off and sighs.
"Something like this is hard to tell someone. Just give me time, please?" He begs.
I couldn't help but accept and nod. He wasn't ready to tell me, so I should respect that. However, we've been together for 5 months now and it seems like whatever it is, he has been keeping from me this whole time. It bothered me a bit, but I tried not to show it.
"Okay. You promise you will tell me though, right?" He nods.
"I promise. Now let's cuddle again." He demanded, cuddling up to me.
I smiled down at him and gently kiss his forehead.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
Hope you liked this chapter! Idk if I said it here too because I mentioned this on my message board a while ago, but this is only a short story, so it's going to be ending soon. I hope you've liked it so far. xX
