Ashton POV-
I woke up to the sound of yelling across the house, with the thought of how I didn't die in my sleep the night before.
'Great. Nothing like your parents fighting as soon as your day starts...this is going to be fun.' I thought, noting the sarcasm.
I get up and ready for the day; taking a shower and getting dressed. When I finish up I take a look at my outfit.

After deciding I look decent for another day of high-school, I walk downstairs and try my hardest to escape the wrath of my parents fury because of their stupid argument. Luckily I make it this time. Unluckily I didn't have any breakfast because I was rushing even though I still have an hour until school starts. Since the bus gets two crowded I usually ride my skateboard to school, but since I have time a ride to the local park and try to finish my homework even my dyslexia and ADHD always gets the best of me.
After giving up after only 2 minutes I try to listen to music. I start blasting 1985 by Bowling For Soup; knowing full well anyone in a 5 feet radius from me can hear it because it's that loud.
I close my eyes and let the music carry me into a serene place. For a while I'm relaxed but as always it doesn't last because someone always has to interrupt me. A boy about 15, a year older than me, with jet black ebony hair and a Panic! At The Disco t-shirt on walks up to me and taps me on the shoulder not knowing I saw him.
"..hey..um my names Nico...I heard what you where listing too a couple of minutes ago...and I can also hear you are listing to Secondhand Serenade right now.. I just wanted to say that you have good taste in music. Well I'm gonna go now bye." He hurried away from me but not before I said,
"Thanks. Oh and by the way..like your shirt!" I had to yell since he was waking away. But I swore as I said that I could se a faint smile on his lips.
