"We'll done ladies and gentlemen, you've been selected."
"Selected for what?" The man's hand glided over the table and handed the crew some papers.

"We've been contemplating this mission for quite some time now. We want to better the average citizen's life, give more room for improvement," He paused as he put his hands flat on the table.

"That's why we've chosen you for this." He finished.
"But isn't this extremely risky considering the resent alien attacks and what not?" A woman said from across the table.

"We've taken that into consideration, and that's why we've made sure none of you are impostors of any sort."

Wert,~

"So what is our mission exactly?" Thomas finally spoke.
"To set the ground work."

"For future missions, you'll be the pioneers of humanity's colonization of the moon,"

Wert, ert~

"And if there are any failures,"

"Then further missions shall be delayed."

Sykkuno woke from his dream as she ship's alarms blared in his ears.

Wert, ert ert~

"~The reactor is-" Sykkuno managed to hear as he dipped in and out of consciousness. Who ever said it had ran by the door so he didn't hear the whole thing.

WHOPOOM

The ship groaned as an explosion of some sort happened outside. With that Sykkuno climbed down his bunk ladder as fast as he could.
"Hey! What's happening!?" He shouted down the hall as he ran through the left engine room.

Wert, ert ert~

The sounds of the alarm drown out his voice as he skidded into the reactor.
"Other side! Sykkuno! Other panel!" He could barely hear Poki shout as she pointed vigorously to a panel similar to the one she was by on the other side of the room.

Wert, ert ert~

Sykkuno ran to the panel and put his hand on the scanner as he adjusted some switches and sliders near by.

Wert, ert ert~ wert, er...

The alarm faded as the reactor finished cooling. Sykkuno, Poki, and presumably the rest of the crew took a deep breath of relief as the ship fixed itself the best it could.

"What... what happened?" Sykkuno asked out of breath as Toast and Corpse ran into the room. Corpse was still in his suit.
"Hey! Hey, you two okay?" Toast asked as he ran up beside Sykkuno.

"Yeah, yeah... what, what just..." Sykkuno couldn't finish his sentence before Toast answered,
"Reactor over heated, blew out the left engine. It was just about to overheat the right one but you two got it."

"How did it overheat? It was regulating itself just fine." Sykkuno asked as he managed to stand up with Toasts help. Corpse was helping Poki out of the room by the time he got up.
"I don't-"

"Hey! Hey! I found out!" He heard Rae shout from down the hall. She came running into the room with her tablet, waving it around.
"Woah, okay- calm down, what happened?" Toast asked.

"There... there was a manual override to the ship's cooling systems." She breathed while almost squatting and putting her hands, and tablet, on her knees.
"How long ago? And by who?" Toast questioned.

"About 10 minutes ago, I can't find out who did it though." She finished as she stood back up.
"Where's Kaylie?" Sykkuno chimed in.
"Good question." Toast responded as he brought up a walkie talkie type thing up to his mouth.

"Hey, do you know where Kaylie is?" The radio static filled the room as he listened.
"No, i haven't seen her." Corpse's voice responded.

"We might have a lead- do a full search of the ship. We have another alien on board." Toast said into the comms. He put it away and turned to Sykkuno.

"You up for helping?"

Engines deactivated/stationary

"Okay, Left and right engines, reactor, security, electrical, storage, and now comms room are clear." Sykkuno announced into his comm link.

"Right, me and Corpse have cleared medbay and cafeteria, we're going into admin." Poki replied.

"I cleared o2." Rae continued.
"She's not in nav or shields." Toast added.
"Yeah, guys. She most definitely is in admin." Corpse concluded as he and Poki looked at Kaylie sitting by the entrance of admin with parts of her stomach gone.

"Kaylie was not an alien by the looks of it." Poki said nervously as they walked up to what was left of her.

Corpse's POV:

Kill her- leave- heart- I can do it later-
"Yeah, she's got bits of her stomach~"
Hungry- no later- stab her- I can't now-
"Bitten out by the looks of it."
Kill her- no I- stab- no- get her- n- kill~

"Corpse?" Poki asked as she waved her hand in-front of my face.

No POV:

Toast, Rae, and Sykkuno all met in shields as they listened to what Poki was saying.
"~by the looks of it." They heard her say.
"So it's definitely not Kaylie..." Toast said sarcastically to himself.

"Corpse?" They heard Poki ask as they began towards admin. Silence followed for a couple seconds after Poki asked that.
"Hey? You okay there buddy-" An abrupt thud was heard over comms followed by a series of short lived screams.

"Hey!~" Toast shouted angrily as the three hurried to admin.
"Corpse what did you do?" Sykkuno asked himself as they approached admin. He could already see the blood pooling out from admin as they got closer.

"Corpse what the fuck did you do!?"
