first of all: i love them.
like their relationship was so precious.
i love this whole anime.
the symbolism.
the way it is a loop.
and yes, i do ship ryo x akira.
i know that akira most likely really isn't in love with ryo at all, just sees him as his best friend.
but ryo does canonically love akira. and i think that's HUGE. because he normally never really shows emotions. why? right, because he's not supposed to have emotions in the first place, i mean, he's satan after all.
but there's that one person that managed to make him vulnerable and bring his little amount of humanity to the surface, to make satan fall in love.
and that is akira fudo.
i love that.
