AN= This chapter and the next is loosely inspired by the song Devil Town by Cavetown. I love Cavetown so much omg. Also, I guess u gotta imagine Andie standing in front of Eddie in that scene in the pic. And Stan is close too i guess.

"Fear. It's fear, what you felt," Mike spoke in a serious tone.
"Why did we all feel like that, Mike?" Bill asked. "You remember something we don't, don't you, Mike?"
There was silence and Andie could sense darkness growing in the pit of her stomach. The same darkness she felt before stepping into the restaurant. Mike began answering, his face was serious, not a humor in sight. "Something happens when you leave this town. The farther away, the hazier it all gets. But me? I never left. So, yeah. I remember. I remember all of it."
Quiet filled the room as everyone stared at one another in fear. Andie could feel the soft skin that radiated comfort and could only belong to one person; Stanley Uris. Andie looked down to their united hands then back at him with a small smile as he wore his eyes of deep brown with sunflowers buried inside. She gave him a small nod and squeezed his hands, just before he gave it a gentle squeeze. Despite losing one another for almost 20 years, he remembered. He remembered them, and how they would be there for one another, always.
"Pennywise," Beverly uttered.
"Oh, the fucking clown," Eddie gasped, as he began fumbling through his pockets for his inhaler.

"This is your fault."
"You didn't even realize."
"You were the worst."
"What kind of a friend were you?"
"You could never be good enough."
"You're just a freak."

Andie could feel her breathing getting shorter and shorter, and her hands, that were out of Stanley's hold began shaking, as memories, bad memories came flooding back. Just as quickly as her anxiety arrived, it began fading at Stanley's touch.

"Andie, I need to tell you something," Stan had informed her.
At that time, they had been dating for six months, and they were in Andie's room. Linda wasn't home, and the two were alone, together, just the two of them.
"Yeah?"
"I get scared a lot, you know-"
"I do," she nodded with a slight chuckle.
He gave a small smile and continued, "But the thing is, you just know exactly when I am scared, and you would hold my hand tightly." Andie nodded, allowing the curly haired boy to continue. "When you do that, it just- everything just feels nice and right. I guess, what I'm trying to say is that I'm really fucking scared of new things," he rambled, slightly chuckling at his nervousness.
"Stan, you can tell me anything," she beamed.
"I don't like new things, at all. I'm scared of it. And this, us, it's all new to me," he continued. "Falling for you is new, and I'm really scared but," he paused, breathing in deeply. "But, I feel safe with you. You make me feel safe."
