Meeting

Florence's point of view

Noah's father spoke "Guards catch hold of her and seize her phone"
A few bulky men held me and took my phone.
I spoke "What the heck are you doing?"
"Home arresting you"
"Why? What did I do!?"
"Your parents told me, you always find ways to run from home. So they told me, if I get you keep you with me"
"They told you to keep me! Not home arresting me! "
"That doesn't bother, both are same. Guards bring her in"

Liam was just seeing the whole drama with wide eyes. Now I knew, I can't escape from this situation so I spoke "Home arrest Liam also with me!"

Liam and Noah's father exclaimed "What?"
"Yes bring him with me"
Noah's father spoke "Never mind. Guards drag him too"
Liam exclaimed "Wait what?!"

We we're home arrested in Noah's home. Locked a huge room with all luxury living.

Noah's father entered and asked us "So Florence do you have any questions regarding wedding?"

I rolled my eyes and said "Yes. I have. When is the marriage?"
"In 4 days" he replied.
My jaw dropped "What so fast! 4 days? And what if I didn't come today and you can't catch me?"
"That is not even a problem. Your parents or even I would have caught you in a single day..."

He went and closed the door calmly. I sat on the couch, took a deep breath.
"Liam...! What is happening in the world!"
He spoke resting on the couch "First we thought the problem was Noah forgot Janice..."
"Then we thought the problem was marriage"
He spoke "Then the real problem is that you are getting married with him! What about my love?"

I kept silence and spoke "Liam... What if I really get married to Noah? You are like brother to him. So you will be my brother- in- law?"
He vigorously reacted "Florence! Shut your mouth!"
"Oops sorry! My mind is not at all working. What the heck am I even speaking? We need to make a plan"

We kept calm. Liam spoke "So Florence, I understood why you always didn't want to show your parents..."
"Oh good. Got some brains."
He spoke while taking a sip of coffee "So Florence, let's keep calm and talk something good. So do you have any good incident to share?"

"Not a incident, but somethings which which I did. "
"Oh continue"
"So I was the one who recommended Janice for a job in Spiral Industries. And those perfumes in my dorm are new, not still released in market. I have them for testing"
"You have a plenty of secrets bury in you..."
"Yeah, indeed... And yes Liam see in that right corner, there's a hidden camera, someone's watching us"
"Oh wow... Cameras..."

I and Liam spoke simultaneously "What are we even talking? Let's make a plan!"
We both rolled our eyes and giggled.

Suddenly Noah's father came in the room. He spoke "Florence I need to speak something with you. Come with me"
I rolled my eyes and replied "But I don't want to"
I kept silence and spoke after a few seconds "I'm again telling you. It's a important issue. If you want to come, then come."

He left the door open. I stood up and went out, followed him. He went in a pleasant room.

Noah's father spoke "Oh you came. So sit"
I sat on down of the sofa. "Ahem" I coughed slightly, signalling him to speak.
He spoke "You look sensible. So listen. Don't panic"
"Yeah continue"
He spoke after pause "Noah did not forget Janice. I was the one who blocked Janice from his mind"

I stood up "What!"
Noah's father spoke "See calm down. Either I wasn't happy or pleasant to do these all things"
I spoke sarcastically "What is wrong with your whole family?!"
He spoke "You sit down. Let me tell you everything... Let me speak"
"What do you have more to speak!"

I rolled my eyes and sat down "Continue"
"I always had eyes on my child. I know they both love each other. But I had to do it for the sake of my child. If he will forget Janice after he marries her, if he leaves her... After that if everyone knows that he is suffering from such thing, he will be removed from his position even though it's his own company... I just don't want him to be criticised. He is the only person I have, after his mom left..."

His eyes were slightly tearing. He spoke while wiping his tears with handkerchief "Men should not cry"

"It's okay sometimes"
