The last part

I and Florence we're very happy then suddenly Florence turned back "Now lest talk about us Liam..."
"Huh?"
"Let's end our relationship of boyfriend and girlfriend"
"Florence? Are you serious? Kidding me?"
"Why would I joke? I really want to. I want to win my dare."
"Florence, if you are for real, you are breaking me"
"That's what I exactly want!"
"You are breaking me. I trusted you"
"Now that you are broken. My game is done. The dare is done"
"Never expected" I smiled sadly to myself.

All became silent. Florence was smiling.

Suddenly Florence turned and walked slowly towards me smiling. She spoke "Liam... Liam. Speak to me"
I did not speak anything. Everything I did for her was just to go in vain?

She spoke"Liam... My dare is completed."

She came more closer "Listen I am never-let-go type. I will not let you get rid of me. "
I spoke "Huh?"
She sat on a single knee "Liam! Will you be me soulmate? Will you marry me?"
"Uh what... What?" I was astonished for a moment.
"Yes! Will you marry me now? Reply"
I was so much smiling "Florence Evans! You scared the shit out of me for a moment!"

I went near her, sat with her "Of course I would. This was the moment I was waiting for"

I red took out a box from my pocket , I opened it "See I even have our engagement rings"

She took out the big ring, took my hand and slides the ring.
I spoke "This big one is for you"
She giggled"No you deserve it. For doing so much and tolerating me"

As I hugged her, we fell on each other.

A month later

I was in a figure skating match, very cheerful. Florence, Noah and Janice we're sitting in audience, cheering me. I won first prize.

Something unexpected happened after the game.

After the game, I and other players were in room talking. Suddenly Florence came in. I ran to her she spoke "Today at 5 in Marianne Gardens. I'll be waiting for you and yes congratulations. I'm leaving now"

Marianne Gardens

5 P.M.

I walked over to Marianne Gardens. I saw Florence sitting over there. I went and sat besides her.
"Hi!"
She spoke blandly "Hi"

She was looking a bit pale.
She spoke "Umm... Liam these days were very nice"
"Yeah"
She paused for a moment and spoke "See I don't want to beat around the bush. I am leaving, in a week to London"
"Are you joking?" I laughed
"My parents want me to study more about business"

We kept quiet.

Florence spoke quick "Umm should I tell no?"
I kept quiet and thought for sometime.
I spoke "How much time?"
"One and a half year"
"I always want to see you rise. All the best for your journey. I'll wait for you"

I got up and ran back.

2 years later

Liam in a interview

There were many journalist sitting.

An journalist asked "Sir in these two years you became one of the most famous players of figure skating. Sir can you share how your journey started?"

I replied remembering when I and Florence we're Young "Due to a girl. I used to be very scared of even going on the rink. But I saw her falling down and rising again. That stirred up some courage in me. I'm very thankful to her"

Another journalist asked me "Sir a personal question. Do you have someone you like?"
Florence was running in my brain. I giggled "What is your name?"
"Florence"
I smiled "Beautiful name. Will you have dinner with me?"
"Sir.. sir? Really?"

A week later

By tomorrow it will be exactly 2 years Florence left. She told she will return in a year and a half, it's been two years since she left. From past few months, she didn't even call.

I realized, waiting for someone is one of the most painful tasks. But I know it is worth waiting.

I still remember the day we departed 14th of February. Tomorrow is a day when everyone meets, but for us it was a day we detached. I was looking at our pictures. Fate is funny.

That day in airport she hugged me and only said one thing "Wait for me. Goodbye". When the aeroplane left, I was just staring at it.

At that moment I got reminded of a quote. A hospital has heard many real prayers than a temple and an airport has seen many true feelings than an wedding.

Tommorow

14th February

Today was bright. I was sitting idle staring at her picture in a cafe. Suddenly I got a call from Naoh.
"Hello Liam"
"Hi"
"Actually I arranged a blind date for you"
"Oh cool. Where?"
"Wait. You agreed? You didn't even see her photo. And what about Florence?"
I smiled "Thqt doesn't matter. Maybe if some how she gets to know about this, she may get angry and come fast"
"Ok then. Now at Marianne Gardens"

An unknown smile appeared on my face. I went and stood in garden. I saw no one. I was all alone in the garden filled with light blue flowers.

Suddenly I saw a girl covering her face with an envelope and walking towards me. As she was walking my heart beat was increasing. She came and stood near me. I was smiling. She slowly removed the envelope from her face.

She spoke " It has been a long time"
I was just staring at her and smiling. She spoke "I am your blind date. You don't recognise me? It's your dearest Florence Evans"

She was smiling.

Someone took a photo of Liam and Florence. Sent it to Noah's phone.
Noah exclaimed "Janice! Florence met him "
Janice peeked into his phone"They look so beautiful. Our plan is so nice"

Florence spoke "Don't you still recognize me?"
I replied "Of course I know you Florence. Never expected you to be my blind date. I just... have to make sure if this is in my dream."

Florence came and kissed me on my forehead "How about this? Still like in your dream?"
I said "Even more"
"How do you want me to prove it? You want to see my certificate ?"

She took out her certificate from the envelope. "This is my certificate of completion of my studies. Now do you believe me? And yes I am so sorry for making you wait".

Before she can complete her sentence, I grabbed her and threw the certificate aside. "It doesn't matter. The only thing it matters is that you are here.

She smiled.
I spoke "Florence"
"Hmm"
I lifted her up "Welcome home"
She smiled "Anywhere you are is my home"
