I was staring at the job board, letting out a sigh I really need a exciting job, lately of all the jobs that I'd done recently have been so boring. As my eyes kept scrolling over the board my patience was fading and slowly I was getting frustrated, growling as the only thing I could hear was my foot repeatedly twitching, I ended up letting out a massive sigh that got everyone attention "Sting for god sake, stop it" I snapped out of my thoughts to see an angry Rogue standing next to me "what?" I stared at him with a confused look. Rogue grew more frustrated as I stared at him "just take a job already, you staring at the board isn't going to make the perfect job appear" Rogue growled reaching towards the board. He grabbed a sheet pinned to the board and passes it to me "there a job now go" he grumbled and walked away "and I'm not going with you" I could hear Rogue yell. I rolled my eyes and mimicked what he last sentence was, unfolding the crumbled piece of paper the job, looking through its simple but can't complain now "let's go Lector, we're going on a job" I yelled, the red exceed ears perk up and flies over landing on my shoulder.
"So what's this job Sting?" Lector asked still resting on my shoulder "just some bandits in a near by town" I mumbled another plain simple job. What's wrong with me I used to love going on jobs the fame, money and the attention not interested in any of those fan girls, my only focus is to be no.1 and to fight while also defatting Natsu, has something been missing in my life that is making me wonder. While travelling to this near by town I'm finding some peace to myself normally Rogue comes with, we'd argue every time but this time he didn't come and like I mentioned it's been peaceful "I should go on missions without Rogue more often" I thought to myself, me and Lector arrived at the town. Upon towards our walk to the town a villager recognised my guild mark I took the chance to ask for directions, he pointed straight on saying our thank you we continue our walk "Sting" Lector chirped "what's up buddy?" I asked turning my attention to him "are you happy?" Lector asked his question took me back a bit, was I happy or unhappy "I'm happy buddy" I said smiling petting him genially.
I wasn't sure if I was telling the truth but for now I am. We arrived at the town to visit the person who posted the ad "hi we're from Sabertooth" I said trying to get someone attention, this got the attention of the people and I could have sworn they had the biggest smile on their face "Sabertooth is here" they yelled in joy hearing them cheer with excitement made me smile a little back at Sabertooth it's all victory only, no one has fun at all "come this way" I was pulled out my thoughts when two of the towns people grabbed my wrists dragging me to who I need to speak to, I got dragged to a horse and in front of me was a man and from the looks of his cloths he was a farmer "they come every night and steal our crops, without our crops we can't make any jewels" a man explained as I nodded my heading listening to him "it's not just our crops, they break into shops and steal whatever they can" a women added on "leave it to me" I said as I headed in the direction that these thief's are supposedly hiding out.
