Today was day three of the Games and "I'm going to do this challenge" I said already had volunteered to do the pandemonium to make up for day one earlier "what I want to redeem myself for yesterday" Gajeel said "I'd let her do this one" Laxus said looking at him "we know Clare been dying to get into that battle field" Mirajane said, even though I did want to have a battle I'd rather save my energy for the final day "looks like Erza going in, you sure your up for that" Laxus said smirking at me "can't say no to fighting Erza" I smiled back "damn you are mad" he chuckled folding his arms, I smiled "good luck Clare" Mirajane said "win this one for us" Juvia said, she had now filled in for Mystogan since the special judge has arrested him before so he decided to sit this out. Jura asked "yes you are correct...100 terrifying monsters within the castle wall but not to worry about them escaping we have magical walls out, they are scored based on there difficulties D,C,B,A and S, to give you an example I'll show you how strong a D monster is" he said showing us what the weakest monster was "remember monster of a high class are twice as stronger as lower class, so if you think that D class looked tough you'll lose your mind over the S class monster, I'm not sure even a wizard saint can" Toma said with excitement aiming that towards Jura "you can also wish to choose the number of monsters you wish to fight at each round we call it the competitors right to challenge" Toma also added "we make the choice" Erza said in surprised as I closely pay attention this is going to be interesting "that's right, say you want to fight three monsters there will be three waiting inside of course going in alone once you've vanquish all three you'll gain three points, next competitor will choose out of the 97 that are remained and then the process repeats the game will end when either all the monsters have been cleared or to the point everyone is out of magic power" Toma explained "so there some math involved in this" Milanna said "yes to some degree, after choosing your numbers wisely will become important but you do remember not all these monster are created equally, whether you choose to face five or more chosen randomly" Toma finished explaining while Hibiki and Orga argue about strategy "although the higher rate monster are higher your scored based on how many of them you can defeat, once you enter the castle you will not be allowed to leave until you successfully defeat them" Toma added "what happens if you don't complete the challenge and get knocked out?" I asked folding my arms "you'll keep the points you accumulate in the previous round but you'll be out of the game with no points will be awarded if you challenge one higher then your score" Toma explained my question then a box appeared in his hand "now to decided the order you go on each of you sill draw out a straw" Toma said as we each grabbed one, I looked over and Erza got one "well your damn lucky and I'm willing to bet you'll also get the most amount of turns, mean while I'll be stuck at number 8" I said I plopped on to the group and this got Jura attention "why you sitting down?"
