Chapter six A promise was made

Sting POV

"Sting what the hell" Clare said after I was just blasted by her "I just wanted to talk" I groaned pulling myself of the wall that I hit man she was strong "honestly you are the last person I wanted to talk to" she said folding her arms she wasn't happy to see me "I'm guessing you saw that fight I was in" I said scratching the back of my head avoiding eye contact "yeah I saw it, stupid is one word for it" she mumbled I had to think of something "Clare can I please explain plus we had a deal" I said reminding her we agreed if we saw each other again we'd actually get to know each other, she just looked at me even more angry then before but she looked cute with that angry look on her face "fine" Clare let's out sigh and sits down on the ground. I did the same "first of all last time I saw you you were brunette where did this come from" I blurted out she didn't seem pleased by this "really that's your first question" she said and I nodded curious about this sudden change "fine, I was training with Laxus and all of a sudden my magic went crazy and suddenly my hair turned blonde with the blue highlights" Clare explained seeming to be more relaxed "wow that's crazy can magic even change someone hair" I said sounding excited it kind of surprised her a bit "let just start with basic" Clare suggested and I nodded "I'm Clare Dreyar of Fairy tail and I'm a moon dragon slayer" Clare explained so she was a dragon slayer too "moon dragon slaying" I said amazed by the sound of it "yep, all the powers of the moon, dust, light and trying to learning more" Clare said holding her hand out making a small butterfly appear it was so pretty we watched as it flies away "can't believe that tiny thing managed to knock me to that wall" I mumbled this made Clare let out a small laugh "so your related to Laxus Dreyar" I said amazed "yep he's my older brother" Clare responded "why did you tell me you were in fairy tail?" I asked honestly why didn't I know this "you didn't ask and I don't often say my last name people just knew who I was sometimes" Clare said which made sense kind of bugged me she was in Fairy tail since there the enemy well any guild would have been"well you know I'm Sting Eucliffe of Sabertooth and I'm white dragon slayer" I explained it seems to cut the tension "you really made a scene with Natsu, you know" Clare started "you'll only fuel his anger and once he's like that he's unstoppable" Clare said sounding serious "will see about that" I said "why did you act like that in front of people and Natsu, it gave me a different perspective of you?" Clare started with a question "I kind got used to it, Sabertooth is all about victory I guess it rubs off the wrong way, the way I was with you when we met is the side of me no one seen" I explained and I was telling the truth, Clare turned to face me better so she went sitting slightly of my direction unsure how to sit now face me "do you like being like that?" Clare asked this was a question that threw me off "no...yes" I rambled with my words "Sting...do you even like being in Sabertooth" Clare asked sounding concerned "the guild is great it's just our Master can been intense, we're not like Fairy tail" I said it was the first time I was honest about life in Sabertooth "your master doesn't sound like a good person" Clare said slightly shifting closer god my heart was beating like crazy "yeah he's not that great but he pushes us to be stronger" I said trying not to worry her "you know it wasn't nice for me to have witnessed that night, it was a totally different Sting from four months ago" Clare says pulling her knees to her chest "kind of hoped you didn't see that" now thinking about it wasn't the smartest idea "see I like this side of you much better" she says smiling could I be a nicer person not with Sabertooth though "I guess I can be a little bit of a jerk" I said letting out a small laugh "a little" Clare said pretending to be shocked which made me laugh and she laughed as well and it was such a nice feeling I wish Sabertooth could be like this and hopefully Clare can see more of this side of me.
