It's getting darker out , We're on the balcony, it's quiet, light music playing as the stars shine on my face , she looks at peace , the moon is full and glorious. I still think about what happened earlier,I feel a range of emotion i can't describe how fast it happened, I didn't want it to hurt this bad . Tears run down my face but I keep quiet, I can't let her know I'm crying, but it's hard to stay quiet in such confusing situation. The silent atmosphere breaks as she starts talking lightly, she sounds tired , " Ava , we should get to sleep I feel tired but if you wanna stay up more you can " she calmly suggested. " I'll sleep later , you go ahead " I smile as my voice slightly shakes . Melanie goes to bed and sleeps . She looks like an angel. I look up at the sky, I feel worthless, I wanna go home I'm too upset. I silently sob and cover my head with my arms and knees. Thoughts and feelings scatter all over my head making it hard to breathe. I collect up courage and breathe in the fresh, cool air and pack my bags and I slowly sneak out without waking her up. I'm 7 minutes away from home, I cry on the way home uncontrollably till my eyes swell up. I get home and climb up to my window which I left slightly open. I turn my night light on and get into bed, sobbing harshly on to my bedsheets and pillows soaking them up with salty wet tears.
