Chapter 14: Awake and Alive

                                                              C.C's P.O.V

"How is she?" Jinxx asked softly while closing the door to her sullen room. "She's no different." l said and sat down in a chair next to her bed putting my head in my hands. "She will wake up eventually" Jinxx said walking over to me. "How are you so sure about that? She's been like this for 3 days and she's not getting any better." "Christian you just have to keep your hopes up and think positive." "But it's hard because my love of my life is on the brink of death." "She'll pull threw she's very strong and stubborn." "l hope." l said staring at her blank face and holding her hand. 

                                                              Voltoria's P.O.V

l woke up in a weird white room with no doors or windows. l remember what happened, Toby stabbed me in the abdomen and he said that Calico will attack soon. Shit, l'm stuck in my mind until l wake up. How long have l've been out? "3 days." l heard Renu say connecting to my mind. "Renu it's good to hear you." "Good to hear that your mind is still awake." "How is everybody?" "C.C.'s torn up." "Oh my gosh Christian. l need to wake up." "Volts don't stress yourself out. Your body needs heal." "Uhg, how's the healing process?" "You don't look any different from when it happened." "Fuck. Any way to make it speed up?" "Only way is if your awake." l sighed heavily. "Well tell the guys that my mind is at least awake." "Ok l will." "Later Renu." "Later." 

l sighed heavily, what am l going to do in my mind. Well l can relive my favorite memories. Yah, l'll entertain myself that way. 

                                                                Renu's P.O.V

l went into Volt's room to tell C.C. that her mind is still alive and that is where she is. "Hey Christian l have some good news." l said sitting down next to him. "Really! What?" He asked hopefully. "Volt's mind is still awake so there is hope that she will wake up." "Oh my god can she hear me?" "Yes, she can." He gave me a hopeful look and l smiled. "l'll leave you two alone." l said and got up and left the room. 

                                                                C.C.'s P.O.V

"Volts if you can hear me l want to tell you that l love more than you can ever think and l believe in you and l know that you will pull through. l remember when we first met. Jinxx found you in the theater and took you home with him. Andy thought your name was epic. Little did we know that you were very special. That day we also had our first kiss, thanks to Andy. That's when you stole my heart. l was very happy and grateful when you said yes to spending that day with me. Because of that day we are where we are now. Well not exactly now, but you know what l mean. l am very grateful to have you in my life. You were a blessing and you helped open my eyes to love. And l promise my foREVer to you. But can you promise me that l will be able to see your beautiful, joyful eyes again and see your bright, smiling face." l was cut short by my hand being squeezed. "Baby?" l breathed out. "Gummy bear?" She said softly slowly opening her eyes. "Oh baby bat." l said carefully holding her close to me. "l have to tell everybody." l said and got up and dashed around the house to find everybody.

"GUYS SHE'S AWAKE!!! SHE'S AWAKE!!!!" l yelled and everybody followed me back up to her room. She was sitting up a little, drinking some water. Everybody ran to her and hugged her. "Oh my god l'm glad your back!" Alexis yelled. "Hey." She said hoarsely. Alexis started crying tears of joy. "Hey kid." Jinxx said. She smiled at him. "Glad to be back." "Hey bitch you scared me." Ashley said. "Well it's good to see you too weirdo." She said and ruffled up his hair. "You should rest we need you strong because we will never know when Calico will attack." Renu said. "Yah." "Well you rest up and we will be here when you wake up again." Jake said and lightly punched her arm. "Ok. Love you guys."

Everybody left and l stayed behind. "Christian l heard everything that you said. And all l want to say is that l don't want you for forever." l looked down sorrowful as her comment stabbed me in the heart. "Christian forever isn't long enough. l want you for eternity." l looked back up at her with a smile on my face. l pulled her into my arms and pressed my lips to hers. l missed her warm embrace and her soft kiss. She pulled away from me and put her head on my chest. "l missed you so much. You were the only thing l could think of." l said with tears of joy streaming down my face. "You were the only thing keeping me alive." She said wiping them off. She scooted over so l could lay down next to her. l held her in my arms never wanting to let her go. lf only we could stay like this for all of eternity.
