Chapter 2: On the Run

l woke up at 3 in the morning and went to the kitchen to get something to eat. l took a bowl out from one of the cupboards and went to the pantry and grabbed a box of honey nut Cheerios. l poured the cereal into the bowl and then splashed milk on top of it. l then quickly scarfed down the cereal and washed the bowl and spoon and put them back back where they belong. After that l went to the room that l was staying in and grabbed my toothbrush, toothpaste and a change of clothes and left for the bathroom. l changed into one of the pares of black skinnies l had and my bvb t-shirt with all five of the guys on it with flames everywhere. Then l brushed my teeth and grab the clothes i just took off. l put everything back in my backpack and took out my A7x hooddie and put it on. l then took out the throwing knife and hid it in my sleeve. l slung my back pack over my shoulder and headed out the door after l made the bed l slept in.

The walk to the bus station was a hour walk and if it happened a 45 minute run. l took out my lpod and jammed the ear buds into my ears and blasted Critical Acclaim by A7x. "Shhhhhh quiet, you might piss somebody off." l sang along with the Rev. If only my mom learned that, l wouldn't have been running away.

An hour later l arrived at the bus station. Luckily they're open twenty-four/seven so l was able to get a ticket to the next bus to L.A. The bus would board at 5:45 and it was 5:05 so l had some time to kill. l went over to a bench and set myself an alarm for 5:43. Then l hugged my backpack extremely close to my body and fell asleep. 

My alarm went off when it was to and l got up. Just then a bus pulled up that said Los Angles on a little sign by the door. As l approached the bus a man said ticket please. l then handed him my ticket and he riped off the nub he need to take and then handed the rest of the ticket to me. l got on the bus and sat around in the middle area on the left. l then put my ear buds back in my ears and sat looking out the window. At 5:50 the bus left the bus station. They're wasn't very many people on the bus. l would say about 15 people including me. l started to look out the window as we passed the area l once lived in. 30 minutes later we passed a sign that said Welcome To California. l smiled knowing that l was away from that monster of a mom.The road soon got bumpy so l went to sleep because of my motion sickness.

l woke back up around an hour and a half after l feel asleep. l dug in my backpack for my laptop and while l was grabbing it my throwing knife fell out of my sleeve and into my backpack. l didn't care because l didn't need to protect myself from anybody right now. l opened up my laptop and connected myself to the wifi the bus had. Then l went on youtube and listened to my faves play list. Unholy Confessions came on and l wanted to scream along with it so bad but l couldn't because l knew l would get strange looks. Then l Won't See You Tonight Part 2 came on. Fuck another good screaming song? l sighed and stared out the window.

At 11:36 we pulled into a gas station to get gas and something to eat. We had 20 minutes till we all had to get back on the bus. There was a Mc Donald's and a Pizza Hut. "Pittsa Hut" l thought to myself knowing that Jake Pitts favorite food was pizza. l wasn't very hungry so l bought a 24 ounce Monster and a Super Blow Pop. l put the items on the checkout counter and the man behind the counter scanned the items. "ls that all?" "Yup" "$4.38 is your total" l reached in my pocket and gave him a five dollar bill and told him to keep the change. l walked to the bus and sat in my seat. l opened the monster and took a couple of sips and then took the wrapper off my blow pop. l was the first and only person on the bus so l took out my laptop once more and unplugged the ear buds and blasted Perfect Weapon l sang/screamed along with Andy. After the song finished the bus driver came on the bus. "How did you get on the bus?" He asked. "You left the door unlocked" "Oh, are you the only one on here right now?" "Yup." "Ok." He then sat in the drivers seat.

10 minutes later everyone was back on the bus and we started moving once again. After 20 minutes of staring out the window my blow pop was gone and all that was left was the gum center. l sat and chewed on it for about 15 minutes then it was all hard to chew like all cheap gum. l took the blow pop wrapper and put my gum in it. 

After 4 hours of listening to music and reading stories on Wattpad we finnaly arived in L.A. As l steped off the bus l looked around. l had to figure out a place to sleep, there wouldn't be much light for very long. As l started to walk l saw what looked like a theater or an auditorium. l went around to the back and found the back door unlocked so l went inside not knowing what l would find.
