Chapter 16: In The End

l woke up next to C.C. and the memories of last night flooded in. Ha ha that was a fun a time. l got up and put some clothes on and went to the bathroom to get C.C. some aspirin. Luckily for me l don't get hung over, l just pass out for a bit then l'm fine. l only get hung over if l drink like 5 bottles of vodka. l think l passed out on C.C. in the middle of sex cause l don't remember a lot of it. l got the bottle of aspirin and a glass of water and put it on the nightstand next to C.C. l smiled contently down at him as he slept. He so adorable when he sleeps. His peaceful face, light snores and a little bit of drool. SO CUTE!!!

l went downstairs and joined my boys in the kitchen. "Hey guys." l said nonchalantly. They waved at me and smiled. l grabbed a cup from the cupboard and got me some juice. l sat down next to them and drank my juice. Soon the rest of the guys came in all hung over. "Turn of the sun it's to bright." Jake said. "Someones hung over." l said drinking my juice. "And your not?" Jake snapped. "Nope l don't get hung over l just pass out for a bit." "So that's why you passed out in the middle of......never mind." Christian said. "Yup" l said getting up to put my cup in the sink when l heard Calico's voice ringing in my head. Meet me on the battle field at midnight and be prepared to die. l heard his raspy voice say. The pain from him invading my mind made me collapse to the floor grasping my head.

"Babe are you ok?" Christian said running over to me. "lt was Calico he said to meet him on the battle field and be prepared to die." He gave me a worried look through his eyes. "Babe he's not going to kill me or anybody else. l won't allow it." l said caressing his cheek. "l won't let it happen either." He said pulling me into his warm embrace. l hugged him back closing my eyes and taking in his enchanting sent. "We better go prepare for battle it takes a bit to get to the battle field." "Where's it at?" Andy asked. "ln the vampire world. The battle field original name is Death Moon Ridge. That's the reason why it starts at midnight hence the moon part." "That makes sense." Ash said. "Well go get ready we have a battle to wage." "HOOAHH!!" We all yelled.

Me and Christian went up to my room and l put on my battle armor. It was a long coat type thing with a hood it was all black with metalic dark red and purple disigns such as roses, knives, skulls and things of that nature. l put my black strong, light weight chest guard on and my matching gurders and gauntlets with hidden blades. l put on my knife belt that can hold 20 knives on and straped 2 katonas on my back.

I took a good look at C.C. He looked so sexy in his armor. He had black armor with red details. I wrapped my arms around his neck and gave him a soft kiss. "You look sexy in battle armor." "As do you my pretty little flower." "Come on, let's go round everybody up. I want to go somewhere before we fight." "Anything you say babe." I smiled and grabbed his hand dragging him downstairs.

"Everybody gather around we are going to go somewhere before we fight." "Where?" Jinxx asked. "It's a surprise. Everybody hold hands." We linked hands and me and all my protectors concentrated on where we are going to go.

Soon we appeared in the Zen Forest, the place of peace and tranquility. "Where are we?" Jake asked. "The Zen Forest, we are here to clear our thoughts and go into a state of peace. You can not fight angry." Everybody nodded at me and I climbed up a tree and sat up against the trunk on a branch. Christian soon joined me up there and we cuddled together in each others arms on the branch. l wish we could stay like this forever but like all good things they must end. 

"No matter how much l want to stay here we can't. We have a battle to finish." l said after jumping down from my branch. "Can we stay here and not fight?" Jake asked. "No, and we have to be on time. Calico doesn't like waiting." l said absent mindedly. We all joined hands again and appeared at Death Moon Ridge right on time. l saw Alexis' coven and Zell's pack/flock. "Thanks for joining us guys." l bro hugged Alexis, Ren and Zell. "Eh, we couldn't miss a fight." Ren said. 

We were interrupted by Calico's army advancing over the field, Calico leading them all. "You ready to die Voltoria Ann Sullivan?" He said 20 meters away from me. "Hmm, not yet l have to see you suffer first." l said standing my ground. "Well then let the game begin." He said signaling his army to attack.They rushed past him with swords and spears drawn. We drew our swords and braced for impact as the made a mad dash for us. l disengaged my hidden blades and stabbed a soldier as he was swinging for me.

l blocked an attack coming from another one and crossed both my blades on his throat and slit it. l saw Jake was knocked to the floor so l came to his aid and stabbed the attacker in the back. l helped him up and went back to killing more of the enemy. A vamp tackled me to the ground and l quickly stabbed him on the top of his shoulder were there is an opening in the rib cage, hitting the pulmonary artery. l pushed his lifeless body off of me and sprang up to my feet. l caught a glimpse of Calico and ran after it killing people in my way.

l finally reached him and smirked. Who is going to make the first move? l know that it's not going to be me. He ran towards me with his sword in striking position. l pulled both my swords out of my sheaths and flipped over him evading his attack. He turned around and swung for me but l blocked his attack. He pulled his sword away and swung for my head which l dodged by bending back words. "You think your so strong." Calico say and swings for me again but l block him. "You think your so cunning." He said keeping up the fight. "But your not going to win this time." He said swinging over head for me but l blocked. He kept contact firm on my blade but l know that his stronger than me. l broke the contact and avoided his swing down word. "lt isn't about guts or strength, it's the will to survive and see the people you love faces for one more day." l said attacking him. "That's all nothing but fantasy and imagination." He said turning the tables. "But once you let love in nothing else matters." l said turning it again. 

We got into an intense sword battle where l lost one of my swords. But we kept fighting without one of us advancing. He swung at me with such great force the block knocked the sword right out of my hand. l blocked his next attempted to finish me with my hidden blades. He kept on attacking and l kept on blocking with my blades until my gauntlets broke making my blades useless. With all his force he impaled me in the abdomen twisting his blade and pulling it out cutting 2 arteries making me bleed profusely. My life flashed before my eyes as l fell to the ground. "lt is done!!!" Calico yelled proclaiming his victory. "Calico you might have won now but there are still 11 other crystals." "Yes but l have beat the strongest so l know that l will prevail." He said and marched away with his troops shouting in victory.

"Voltoria!!!" l heard Christian yell. He ran to me first and pulled me into his lap. "lt's going to be ok babe. Your going to be fine. Just please hang on for me." He said frantically. "Christian what has been done has been done. There's no taking it back." "No, l won't let it. you can't leave me." He said grabbing my hand and putting it to my cheek. "l'm sorry Christian, but you were always my forever and l will see you again where we can have eternity." "Until the end." l heard him whisper tears spilling down his cheeks. "Until the end. C.C." l whispered. "NO DON'T LEAVE ME!!!" l heard him scream before l slip out of consciousness and into darkness.
