School ended and I met up with Austin. We walked to the football field and I sat at the bleachers.
I saw the cheer squad as well practicing and then I saw Josie. Of course. I saw Austin on the field practicing and this feeling came to me. I barely know him and I feel like I have known him my whole life. Mate bond I guess. Austin is a receiver which means he catches the ball I guess. I know I learned everything under the sun but they never taught me football most of the sports they taught me was archery, gymnastics, other fighting sports still honestly don't know how fighting is a sport but it is.
I was too zoned out to even notice Josie was walking up to me until I heard her voice.
''Why are you here?'' She said.
''Because I'm here to take your spot on the cheer squad too'' I said sarcastically.
''As if you don't even look like the cheer type'' She said.
''You'd be surprised at what I know but I was being sarcastic I could honestly care less about what you do'' I said and looked at Austin.
''You know he is just with you cause he feels bad for you'' She said.
''Yeah and what makes you say that'' I said.
''The fact that you basically grew up in a government facility like some kind of rat'' She said and I looked at her.
''What did you just say?'' I said.
''You think I would let you walk in here and not know who you are or where you came from'' She said.
''Who told you'' I said.
''Who do you think?'' She said and looked at Austin.
I got up and I walked on to the field and I caught the ball and stopped the play.
''What the hell?'' I heard.
''Rynn what are you doing?'' Austin said and took off his helmet.
''You told Josie about where I came from.'' I said
''Rynn I can explain'' He said and I shoved the ball in his chest.
''I swear I don't know when to stop being a fucking idiot and trusting people because I should know better'' I said and I walked off.
I walked back to the pack house and I saw the Luna.
''Rynn are you okay?'' She said.
''It was a mistake coming here Autumn and I thank you for everything you have done for me the school the home but I'm going to have to decline I'll be staying with Al till I figure out where to move.'' I said.
''Want to tell me why?'' She said.
''Rynn!'' I heard and I turned around and saw Austin.
''Ask your son'' I said and I shifted and everyone looked at me.
''Rynn'' Autumn said with her eyes wide open.
I looked at everyone and everyone bowed down. Even Autumn. I slowly shifted back and someone covered me with a blanket.
''Why is everyone looking at me like they saw a ghost.'' I said.
''When you shifted in the woods I barely saw your fur I thought I was seeing things but I was right.'' She said.
''About what?'' I said.
''Your fur is rare Rynn'' She said.
''It's literally just white'' I said.
''You haven't seen your whole body?'' She said.
''What about it why is everyone still looking at me like that'' I said and Autumn brought me into her house.
''Your wolf color isn't pure white you have beige in it and your eye color is blue'' She said and grabbed a book and opened it.
''Your fur hasn't been seen in five thousand years it's so rare the family that did have your fur was royalty'' She said.
''That was five thousand years ago that would mean it would have to have survived some where if I have it maybe the people who bit me had the color'' I said.
''Rynn this color isn't given to half blood wolves'' She said.
''That would mean my parent's aren't my parent's and that's not possible I didn't become a wolf until I was bitten'' I said.
''This family was forced into hiding Rynn their power was stronger than any wolf out there they were the most respected wolves but also the most hated a pack of werewolves wiped them out alot of them died trying but it never made sense how they did it.'' She said.
''They must not have got everyone'' She said.
''None of this makes sense this was five thousand years ago'' I said.
''That is a long gap between then and now someone had to have seen them'' I said.
''Not if they went into the human world to hide.'' She said and I looked at her.
''I'm not a full blooded werewolf I'm a hybrid'' I said.
''The vampire side of you was lab made did they kill you to make you what you are?'' She said.
''No'' I said.
''Then it can be reversed'' She said.
''I don't know how they did it but we know some witches that can help'' She said.
''Witches?'' I said.
''Yes'' She said.
''What else are there leprechauns'' I said and laughed but she didn't.
''There is leprechauns?!'' I said and she laughed.
''Not that we know of I was joking'' She said and chuckled.
Austin came in and I stood up.
''I have to go'' I said.
''Rynn I have one more question'' Autumn said.
''You have been with Al for more than three months have you shifted in front of him.'' She said.
''Yeah we went on runs together.'' I said.
''I wonder why he never told you'' She said.
''No idea but I'll ask'' I said and looked at Austin.
''I got to go'' I said.
''Rynn for the time being don't shift the people that ran out this family could still be out there and we have no idea what this means yet but until we figure it out you need to be careful'' She said.
''Yeah Rynn I don't want nothing to happen to you'' Austin said.
''Ironic coming from you'' I said and I walked off.
Halfway home I realized I was walking with a blanket. Great.
None of this makes any sense. If this was even close to true that would mean my parent's weren't my actual parent's. I need answers. The only way I'm going to get them is if I go back to my old home....
